Dorothy A. Camp, age 90, of Taylor Blvd, Campbellsville, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Grandview Nursing Home. She is the daughter of the late Ed and Ambie Camp Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Camp, her daughter, Mary Louise Lee, two sisters, Mary Cloningier and Janie Gillespie. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and a member of Sunny Hill Church of Christ. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Francis Henderson, Carolyn and Ron Gossage, Charlene and Milton Shofner and Bobby Lee all of Campbellsville, eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, fifteen step great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren and five step great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Bro. Steve Lee, officiating.

Rev. Howard W. Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Frank Davenport and Earsie Nolan Davenport was born August 10, 1929 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He died at 7:30 P.M., Saturday, August 16, 2008 in New Albany, Indiana. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He pastored numerous churches including Parksville Baptist Church for six years, South Campbellsville Baptist Church for ten years, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Keene for four years, Oak Grove Baptist Church in Russell County for two years and filled the pulpit for many other churches during times of a pastor#39;s absence. He united in marriage to Dorothy Hill December 20, 1947. Besides his wife, Dorothy Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Betty Davenport of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; three grandchildren: Brenda Jo St. John of Corbin, William Edward Davenport of Seoul, South Korea, and Paul Davenport of Chicago, Illinois; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harold Davenport and Kenneth Davenport of Danville and Marvin Davenport of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Sherry Jo Wright of Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of Donald Wright and Estleen Skaggs Wright, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, July 7, 1955. She died at 5:05 A.M., Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Greensburg. Age: 53 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River House of Prayer. Dorothy Mae Greer Dorothy Mae Greer, 73, of Taylor Blvd., Campbellsville, died Thursday at the University of Louisville Hospital after an illness. She was the daughter of the late William Bray and Margie Davis. She was preceded in death by one brother, Junior Bray and one sister, Sue Lynch.
