Ryan Shipp of Campbellsville, son of Dr. Robert Shipp and Linda Kraus Shipp, was born March 7, 1979, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:25 A.M., Thursday, June 12, 2008 in Campbellsville as the result of a motorcycle accident. Age: 29 He was a student and had attended Full Sail Film School in Orlando, Florida. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church. Survived by his parents, Dr. Robert and Linda K. Shipp of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister: Scott Shipp and wife, Andrea of Campbellsville, Adam Shipp of Elizabethtown and Samantha Shipp of Louisville; his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Virginia Shipp of Campbellsville; two aunts: Linda Shofner and husband, Bobby of Campbellsville and Sharon Barnes of Olathe, Kansas; one nephew and one niece, Mason Shipp and Addison Shipp; many other relatives and friends. Sarah Lynn Key, infant daughter of Scott and Brandy Key, of Speck Ridge, Campbellsville, was stillborn at Lake Regional Hospital in Somerset on Wednesday. Besides her parents she is survived by three brothers, Robbie Key, Elijah Key and William Key all of Campbellsville, two sisters, Alyssa Key of Campbellsville, Tracy Key of Florida . Norman Carl Matherly, age 67, of Frankfort, formerly of Taylor County, died Wednesday, at Windsor Garden Nursing Home in Bardstown. He was preceded in death by his parents James Frank and Mae Shofner Matherly, his wife Norma Ray (2004), brother and sisters, Franklin Matherly, Doris and Sue Ellen Matherly. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Carrie Matherly of Campbellsville, four sisters and brother-in-law, Doyle Webster, Ann and Frank Dile, Virginia Shields and Sharon McKee all of Campbellsville, seven nephews and five nieces. 0.5in 0.5in Ina Mae Huddleston Blakeman, 88, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 09, 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky after a long illness. 0.5in She was born March 16, 1920 in Taylor County to the late William Brance Huddleston and Myrtie Huddleston. She graduated from Campbellsville High School in 1938 and Campbellsville College in 1940. She continued her studies at University of Kentucky earning a B.A. in 1942 and M.A. in 1948 in Home Economics. She continued her post-graduate education at Ohio State University. Her teaching career began at Bloomfield High School before returning to Campbellsville College where she taught Home Economics and Art for many years. Later, she joined her husband as owner-operator of Western Auto, a Campbellsville Main Street business for thirty years. 0.5in She made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at age nine. She was a member for 65 years at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Campbellsville, Kentucky, where she was active in many roles, including serving as a Sunday School Teacher, GA Leader and WMU Director. One of her favorite interests was preserving and chronicling the history of Pleasant Hill. Yet she may be most remembered for using her creative talents and garden flowers as co-chair of Flower Committee. 0.5in In the community, she was a past president of Campbellsville Womenrsquo;s Club, long-time 4-H Leader and faithful member of Coterie Club, DAR and Campbellsville University Presidentrsquo;s Club. 0.5in She was married to Chester Lee Blakeman on April 29, 1943. They enjoyed nearly 64 years of marriage before his death on April 4, 2005. In addition, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Huddleston Sundre and a niece, Janet Kay Sundre, both of Fresno, California. 0.5in She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Dr. Peggy Blakeman Falace and Dr. Donald A. Falace, Lexington, and Sharon Blakeman Wilson and Dr. David W. Wilson, Owensboro; five grandchildren: Dr. John M. Falace and Mary, Lexington, Stephen A. Falace and Trina, Napa, California, Thomas B. Falace, Chicago, Illinois, Rebecca L. Wilson, Washington, D.C, Elizabeth A. Wilson, Owensboro and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Caroline Falace Lexington. Kenneth White, age 80, of New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Charlestown Hospital in Indiana. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Mary Floyd White. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, William (Billy) White, Richard (Dick) White, Louise Musker, Mildred Lillis, Ellen Jane Wooley. Earl Cox, age 76, of Fern Drive, Campbellsville, died Saturday at his residence after an illness. He was the son of the late Earl and Mayme Glover Cox. He was also preceded in death by his wife Viola Cox (2003), one sister, Pauline Dailey. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Earl and Allieson Cox, Delmer Cox, Denise Hogan all of Campbellsville, Michael and Debbie Cox of Indiana, Vickie and Jeff Scott of Greensburg, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one brother, Delmer Cox of Indiana and two sisters, Lucille Coffman of Liberty and Dorothy Williams of Indiana.
