Geraldine Tucker of Liberty, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Howard Hovious and Vernon Burress Hovious, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 20, 1937. She died at 11:40 P.M., Wednesday, October 1, 2008, in Liberty. Age: 70 She united in marriage to Ray Tucker and he preceded her in death March 15, 1979. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Rhonda Tucker of Liberty and Roger Tucker of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: David Tucker of Liberty, Chris Tucker of Lebanon, Steven Tucker of Campbellsville, Amanda Tucker of Franklin, Indiana, Heather Kelly of Greensburg, Kesha Gail Hensley of Carrollton and Harley Stamp of Columbia; five great-grandchildren; five sisters: Pauline Hovious of Elk Horn, Brenda Wilson and Lequita Barnett of Campbellsville, Kathy Hovious of Greensburg and Diane Pittman of Bradfordsville; special friend, James Scott of Liberty; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. James Larry Clements of Campbellsville, son of the late William Heril Clements and Edith Elizabeth Wethington Clements, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 10, 1955. He died at 3:37 A.M., Wednesday, October 1, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 53 He was of the Catholic faith. He had been employed as a construction worker for Parsons Construction Company. He united in marriage to Nevelda Gribbins. Charles A. Shive, age 86, of Miller Road, Campbellsville, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville of complications resulting from a traffic accident, on July 11, in Larue County. He was the son of the late Vernon and Stella Shive. He was married to Christine Frances Williams on July 30, 1946. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2000. Also preceding him in death was one grandchild, Brennan Shive, brothers and sisters, Billy Shive, Bruce Shive, Larry Shive, Maxine Wilkerson, Regina Rose, Catherine Rice and Margie Shaheen. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church and a successful dairy farmer. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles (Butch) and Pam Shive, of Louisville, John Douglas and Cheryl Shive of Campbellsville, two grandchildren John Scott Shive of Lexington and Andrew Logan Shive, of Louisville, brothers and sisters, Fern Carr of Louisville, Gertrude Bennett of Louisville, Rebecca Williams of Campbellsville and Donnie Shive of Hodgenville, special friend, Janel Hamilton of Greensburg. Vernon Bohanon of Campbellsville, son of the late Oney Bohanon and Flossie Whitley Bohanon, was born February 22, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:35 A.M., Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver having worked for Fruit of the Loom for forty years. Eddie Yates of Finley, son of the late Charlie Yates and Lillie Graham Yates, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 5, 1915. He died at 11:30 P.M., Monday, September 22, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He was a retired carpenter. He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He united in marriage to Rinnie Sanders and she preceded him in death. He later united in marriage to Geneva Cave June 26, 1965. She preceded him in death March 14, 2007. Willard LeRoy LaCrosse age 72 of Campbellsville, formerly of Wisconsin passed away Sunday at the Grandview Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late Willard Leroy and Elaine LaCrosse Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife Alma Virginia LaCrosse, on step grandson, Kevin Blaydes. He was a former co-owner of the Active Ad Signs. He is survived by one step-son and two step-daughters, Perry Blaydes and Rita Bilger of Campbellsville, and Twanna Lee of West Virginia, two brothers and one sister, Dennis LaCrosse of Michigan, John LaCrosse and Rosa LaCrosse both of Wisconsin, and six step-grandchildren.
