Leonard E. Pike, 81, of Peterson Street, Campbellsville, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at his residence after an illness. He was the son of the late Burks and Effie Bault Pike. Also preceding him in death was one-half brother, Russell Bault. He is survived by his wife, Lennie Pike, one son, Roger Pike of Campbellsville, and one grandson, Ronnie Pike of Campbellsville. Bernecie Wooley Russell, age 87, of Shawnee Drive, Campbellsville, died Friday at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. She is the daughter of the late George T. And Nannie Murphy Wooley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris D. Russell, one daughter, Maureen Russell Claycomb, one brother, David Wooley, two sisters, Irene Floyd and Ruth Wells. She was a retired school teacher from the Taylor County School System. She is survived by one grandson, Paul Richard Claycomb and his wife Lisa both of Campbellsville, two great grandchildren, Jacqueline Nicole Claycomb and Brittany Claycomb, two sisters, Geneva Cox and Leona Davis of Campbellsville, several neices, nephews and a host of friends. Johnny J. Jones of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Lee Jones and Ida Fay Osborne Jones, was born January 25, 1931, in Beckley, West Virginia. He died at 9:45 P.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 77 He had been employed at Taylor County RECC, Jones Bros. Aluminum and Barnett Construction. He professed faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville First Church of God. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
