size=5Wendell L. King, age 69, of Elkhorn Road, Campbellsville, died Monday at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. size=5 He was the son of the late Walter Lee and Myrtle Edith King. He was a lifetime member of the Church of God. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Sue King of Campbellsville, two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lisa King, Elkhorn, David and Phyllis King of Knifley, two daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Pete Gabehart of Elkhorn, Rebecca and Robert Beard of Knifley, thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister Hilma Gay Noel of Campbellsville. Vernon John Graves, 87, of Ridge Manor, Florida, formerly of Taylor County died Friday September 14, 2007 at the home of his daughter, Cynthia. He was the son of the late John and Ruby Buche Graves. He was born February 24, 1920. He was a heavy-equipment operator with Local 150. He was also The Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge #481 in Momence, Illinois during 1967. He was a member of Sherburnville Christian Church. He enjoyed aviation, golfing, hunting, fishing and playing pool. He was married October 17, 1942, in Grant Park to Margaret Keen. She preceded him in death, July 15, 1926. He was also preceded in death by five sisters, Arlene, Neeva, Hazel, Nelda, Margaret and Ruby, one brother, Orvin, one daughter, Linda and one granddaughter, Morgan. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Joseph and Doreen Graves of Momence, Cynthia and Vernon Chase of Ridge Manor, Florida and Shelly and Dan Couwenhoven of Momence, ten grandchildren and fourteen grandchildren, two brothers, Veryl Graves of Momence and Dean Graves of Ash Flat, Arkansas, three sisters, Velda Hamann and Harriet Webb of Morocco, Indiana and Ethel Jones of DeMotte, Indiana.
