Everett Brewer of Campbellsville, son of the late William Howard Brewer and Sadie Mae Price Brewer, was born April 8, 1938 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 8:00A.M., Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 69
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law and one sister and brother-in-law: Willard and Geraldine Brewer of Campbellsville and Dorothy and Daniel Hester of Louisville; one sister-in-law, Essie Brewer of Campbellsville, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond Brewer on September 25, 1994 and Claude Brewer on January 22, 2001.

Funeral Services: 2:00 P. M., Friday, Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home by Bro. Danny Nelson and Bro. Charlie Warren.
Burial: Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dock Mills

Dock Mills of Campbellsville, son of the late James Fraudie Mills and Claricy Crockett Mills, was born February 3, 1934 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 4:14 A.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in Campbellsville.Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist church.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army acheiving the rank of sergeant. He was awarded the United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with one bronze star and the Good Conduct Medal.
He was a retired masonry contractor.
He united in marriage to Rosetta Woody December 11, 1954.
Besides his wife, Rosetta Mills of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Connie and Neal Burress, and Cathy and Jimmy House of Campbellsville and Linda and Bart Borkosky of Lexington, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters and and one brother: Nellie Barnett of Campbellsville and Eula Odor and Glendle Mills of Cincinnati.
Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Dave Walters and Rev. Eugene Smith.
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers: Bart Borkosky, Ethan Borkosky, Adam Bowen, Neal Burress, Jimmy House, Derek Underwood
Honorary Pallbearers: Delbert Dix, Sam Garrison, Foster Hedgespeth, Mike Hovious and Billy Sellers.

David Lee Lewis, age 64, of Hogards Chapel Road, Campbellsville, died Sunday, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was the son of the late Irving Cleo and Carolyn America Lewis,
He was preceded in death by his brother, Claude Jerry Lewis.
He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Forrest Sutton of Lebanon, three brothers and sisters-in-laws, Irving Cleo and Dorothy Lewis of Falls of the Rough, Ky, William Franklin and Betty Lewis of Samuels, Ky, Lawrence Manuel Lewis of Florida.

William Charles Cissell, age 73, of Red Fern Road, Campbellsville, died Monday, at Medco Nursing Home after an illness.
He was the son of the late William Linus and Alice Kathleen Newton Cissell, he was preceded in death by six half brothers, Rilie Cecil, Earl Cecil, Ben Cecil, Billy Cecil, R. V. Cecil and Willett Cecil, four half sisters, Gladys Humphress, Ruby Wilt and Infa Faye and Margie Cecil.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Ann Cissell, of Campbellsville,
four sons and daughters-in-law, William Mark and Debbie Cissell, Indiana, Thomas Kevin Cissell of Russell Springs, Charles Timothy and Sandra Cissell, Todd and Libby Cissell of Campbellsville, three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Lavonne and Ronnie Murley, of Campbellsville, Pamela Gail Wethington, Columbia, Laetica Ann and Larry Stubbs of Campbellsville, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Mary Cissell, Joseph Harlan and Peggy Cissell, Michael and Marie Cissell all of Bardstown, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ann and Junior Hillard, Mary Alice and Bill Cecil, Catherine Rose Newton all of Bardstown, one half-sister, Mary Bryan Brown of Louisville.

Doris Jane Sloan (Dutch), was born, February 17, 1944 in Campbellsville, Ky, to the late Elizabeth Penick Sloan and James Sloan. The Lord granted her sweet rest on June 3, 2007 at 9:30 P.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Penick Sloan and James Sloan, two brothers, James Arthur Sloan and John Miller.
She professed hope in Christ at an early age and united with Shady Grove Christian Church, Campbellsville, Kentucky, and later joined Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she was a faithful member, trustee and stewardess, until her death.
Being a loving mother and grandmother, she was always concerned about her children, grandchildren as well as a host of children in the community.
She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Grachel Dodd of Atlanta Georgia, two sons, Ladano Sloan, Atlanta, Georgia, and Marvin Sloan, San Diego, California, eight grandchildren, LaDano Sloan, Jr., Nealy Sloan, Daliss Sloan, Bryton Sloan, Nylah Sloan, Aniyah Sloan, Tyron Gaddie, Anastasia Dodd., one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ladietrich Sloan, special cousin and true friend, Wanda Mills, Campbellsville, Kentucky, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Doris Jane Sloan (Dutch), will be conducted on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church, 704 East Broadway, Campbellsville, Ky., with burial to follow in the Miller Cemetery.

Reanna Jade Jones, infant daughter, of Matthew Jones and Amanda Lucas Skaggs, died on May 29, 2007, at University of Louisville Hospital.

She is survived by her brothers, Jacob Wayne Skaggs, Manny Douglas Skaggs of Campbellsville, her grandparents, Cathy Leslie, Barbara Jones of Campbellsville, William Stewart of Indiana, and Kenny Lucas of Cloverport. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Corine Allen White, age 81, of Bethel Hill Road, Campbellsville, died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at her residence after an illness.

She was born November 27, 1925 to the parents of Lucian and Bessie Drye Allen who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death, four brothers, Earl, Estill, George, Roy Allen, two sisters, Louella Hazel and Annie Allen.

She is survived by her husband Estill White, one son, Clarence Allen of Campbellsville, one daughter, Louise Duvall of Indianapolis, three grandchildren, Jason Duvall, Melinda Jenkins, Arlene Williams, five great grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Hendrickson of Knifley, Opal Bridgewater of Cincinnati

She was the daughter of the late William and Laura Dills Rice. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Rufus Phillips, who passed away April 28, 1980, two sons , Harry and Joseph Phillips,three brothers and one sister, Clate, Vester and Edward Rice, and Violet Perkins.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Connie Phillips of Campbellsville, two daughters, Charolette Crouse of Springfield, Illinois and Kathleen Moore of Campbellsville, one daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Phillips, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, one brother Adron Rice of Hebron, Kentucky and one sister, Racheal Arnold of Missouri .

He was born in Sano, Ky, to the late Corney Clyde and Flossie Mae Herron Jones. He was also preceded in death by half-brothers, Rollin, Paul and Toby Bothrope, and sisters, Mary Jo Jones and Blanche Jones.
Boyer played basketball for Campbellsville High School, was drafted into the United States Army where he served during WWII. Upon the ending of the war, he completed his service playing basketball for the US Army.
