Virginia Lee Bottoms, age 77, of Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Medco Nursing Home after an illness.She was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Cleo Denton Corbin. She was a former employee of Fruit of the LoomShe is survived by her husband, Danny Bottoms of Campbellsville, one daughter, Beverly Ann Stapleton of Ohio, four grandchildren, Michael Hovious of Lebanon, Erica DeWess and Jason Kelsay of Campbellsville, and Chris Hovious of Louisville, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Inez Miller of Indiana and Irene Sunnon of Illinois.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.Bro. Geneva Yates of Finley Ridge Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Garland Cave and Susie Harden Cave was born July 14, 1922 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Campbellsville. Age: 84 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1985.She united in marriage to Eddie Yates June 26, 1965. Besides her husband, Eddie Yates of Campbellsville, she is survived by one step-son, Jody Yates of Finley; eight step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; one half-brother: Louis Benningfield; and several other relatives and friends. Richard C. Hord of Fern Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Ray Hord and Elsie Frances Gore Hord, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 7, 1939. He died at 7:35 P.M., Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Louisville. Age: 67 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Shirley Berry December 19, 1959. Paul C. Fraim of Campbellsville, son of the late Carl Fraim and Golda Ward Fraim was born August 13, 1927, in Johnson County, Kentucky. He died at 10:10 A.M., Monday, March 12, 2007, in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Navy.He retired from the Kentucky State Police in 1982, after 30 years of service.He united in marriage to Anne Landreth Pike, July 10, 1990. Elma Jane Gaskins, of Misty Drive, Campbellsville daughter of the late Chester J. Tarter and Olma Smith Tarter was born January 21, 1925 in Russell County, Kentucky. She died at 2:35 P.M., Monday, March 12, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 82She professed faith in Christ as her savior at age thirteen in Russell County and was baptized following a revival in her church. Mr. Curtis Lee Hoosier, age79, of Campbellsville died Monday, March 5, at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.He was the son of the late Charley Lee Hoosier and Lizzie Ann Young Hoosier of Taylor County. He was also preceded in death by one half brother, Charles Hoosier. He was of the Baptist Faith and a retired sawmill worker.He is survived by two sons and four daughters, Robert Dean Hoosier of Indiana and Daniel Smith Hoosier, Carol Jane Cox, Joyce Sherrill and Lois Edelen all of Campbellsville, and Kathy Hoosier of Mannsville. Beulah Scott, age 89, of Danville, formerly of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Danville-Charleston Healthcare Center in Danville after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Pat Chelf and Annie Williams Chelf of Adair County. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Southside Christian Church and was preceded in death by her husband Frank Scott in 1975, two sisters Mae Chelf and Gladys Greer and one brother Gordon Chelf.She is survived by three step-sons, Hoyt Scott of Louisville, Charles Scott and Dr. Larry Scott both of Danville.
