Neil A. Roberts Jr., of Steeplechase Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Neil A. Roberts Sr. and Alice Mattingly Roberts was born June 29, 1936 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 3:52 A.M., Sunday, February 4, 2007 in Lexington as a result of an automobile accident in Campbellsville on December 4, 2006. Age: 70 He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He retired as chief inspector from Parker Kalon in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Rosie Brady September 26, 1964. Besides his wife Rosie Brady Roberts of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Brian Roberts and wife, Melissa of Wilson, North Carolina and Debbie Roberts of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Sabrina Roberts of Wilson, North Carolina; four sisters and three brothers: Barbara Spalding, Alice Marie Shouse and Joe Denny Roberts of Lebanon, Judy Durbin of Bardstown, Dorothy Myers and James Louis Roberts of Louisville and Billy Roberts of Fern Creek; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen M. Roberts, July 24, 1991. Dorothy Hudson of Richmond, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Gary Blake and Myrtle Dewey Blake was born September 29, 1916 in Deputy, Indiana. She died at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, February 4, 2007 in Richmond. Age: 90She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.She united in marriage to Thomas Hudson September 17, 1932. He preceded her in death December 20, 1993. She is survived by two daughters: Marie Bright of Campbellsville and Jenny Tucker and husband, Hollis of Richmond; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Blake of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
