Jennifer Elaine Pierce, age 27 of Campbellsville died Monday, July 17, 2006.She is survived by three sons, Cody, Ethan and Dillan Pierce, all of Campbellsville, her mother and step father, Marilyn and Donald Rogers, of Liberty, her father, James Wesley Johnson of Taylor County, one sister, Paula Gilpin of Campbellsville, her grandparents. Margie Stigall of Campbellsville, Kyle Burton of Columbia and Louise Johnson of Florida. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and a host of friends.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery.Bro John Batcher, officiating.

Ray Mings of Country View Court, Campbellsville, son of the late John Mings and Fannie Elizabeth Tucker Mings was born November 1, 1913 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 6:15 P.M., Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Elizabethtown. Age: 92He professed faith in Christ, was baptized and is presently a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He was a graduate of Campbellsville University and Transylvania University. He taught in the Taylor County School System for eight years. He held a graduate degree from Butler School of Religion in Indianapolis, Indiana.He served as a pastor in central Indiana, and was a former missionary minister in Osaka, Japan for some thirty years having started three churches and serving as a board member and professor of the Osaka Bible Seminary in Osaka, Japan. He united in marriage to Mattie Roberts November 1, 1934. Besides his wife, Mattie Mings of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter and spouses: Dale and Patty Mings of Eastview, Kentucky, Lonnie and Coral Mings of Israel and Colorado Springs, Colorado and Carol and Mike Cornelison of Whitehouse, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Charlotte Mings of Hauula, Hawaii; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Jodie Mings of Campbellsville, Betty Rowe Vaughn and Regina Ermine Farmer of Wadsworth, Ohio and Nina Faye Chelf of Louisville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie Mings September 24, 2003; two brothers, R. D. Mings and Maurice Mings. Fount Fair, age 75, formerly of Taylor County, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at Hardinsburg, Ky.He is the son of the late Joe T. And Martie Sweeney Fair. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Frances L. Elsie Reynolds Gaddie of Locust Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Billie Reynolds and Ada Caulk Reynolds died at 11:07 P.M., Thursday,July 13, 2006 in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Robert T. Delores Ann Bullard of Mount. Pleasant, Texas, daughter of Mildred Threat Bullard and the late Jasper Bullard was born January 27, 1950 in Wheeler, Texas. She died at 5:05 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 56 She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was an electronic engineer for ACT Inc. She united in marriage to Gary Castle who preceded her in death in 1997. Philip J. Mantegna of Clem Haskins Boulevard, Campbellsville, son of the late Philip Joseph Mantegna and Fannie Fornarotto Mantegna was born September 22, 1930 in Belleville, New Jersey. He died at 2:15 P.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Bardstown. Age: 75 He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He united in marriage to Betty Lou Doddridge Marcus on November 21, 1958. She preceded him in death October 20, 1979. He is survived by his adopted children, Tony and Brenda DeSpain of Campbellsville. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services to be conducted at a later date. Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Joe C. Holt of Smith Ridge Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Rufus Blaine Holt and Millie Frances Redman Holt, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, February 24, 1919. He died at 11:10 A.M., Saturday, July 8th, 2006, in Radcliff, Kentucky. Age: 87 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmissions. He was a veteran of World War II, having served his Country honorably in the United States Army and was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon with three Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He united in marriage to Margaret Brockman March 18, 1944. She preceded him in death September 29, 1996.He is survived by four daughters: Bobbie Jo Adams of Louisville, Wanda Farris and husband, Mike of Lebanon and Carol Viers and husband, Daniel and Sheena Mays and husband, Darrell of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother: Hattie Thomas and Granville Holt of Bloomington, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Elizabeth Reid, age 79, of Elmhurst Drive, Campbellsville, died Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illnessShe was the daughter of the late Robert Peterson and Lottie Carroll Peterson Giles. She was born in Taylor County on December 1, 1926. She attended Green River Memorial Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Howard Reid on May 8, 1943 who preceded her in death on January 31, 2002. To this union was born one daughter Patricia Ann Harkless who preceded her in death on November 11, 2003. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Nadine Barnes, Marie Akridge, three brothers, Jim Peterson, Tom Peterson and John Peterson. She is survived by two grandchildren, Michael (Mike) Harkless of Campbellsville, Stacy (Tyler) Reel of Morgantown, West Virginia , one great grandson Colton Reel of Morgantown, West Virginia.She is survived by two sisters, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Audrey and Bobby Joe Newcomb of Campbellsville, Margaret Rittenhouse of Logansport, Indiana, Eladean Peterson of Louisville.
