Harvey R. Gore,age 82 died Friday, September 9, 2005 in Campbellsville.He was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam and retired after twenty-six years service in the Air Force.He was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.He is survived by his wife, Gladys Gardner Gore; one son Dr. David Gore of Lexington;three sisters and one brother: Jean Brockman and H.C. Gore of Campbellsville and Magdalene Dudgeon and Rebecca Blankenship of Columbia.He was preceded in death by one Michael Harvey Gore.Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday Sept. 12th at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans.Visitation after 5:00 P.M., Sunday.

Ernest Wise Sr. of Wise Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Chester D. Wise and Mary Eva Phillips Wise was born August 25, 1922, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:29 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2005 in Louisville. Age: 83 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He united in marriage to Margie Roberts June 20, 1942. She preceded him in death May 14, 2004. He is survived by one son and three daughters: Ernest Wise Jr. and his wife Judy, Carolyn Ogden, and Elizabeth Hamilton and her husband Ken of Campbellsville, Dr. Nancy Wise Ph.D. of Louisville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren: one brother and two sisters: Floyd Wise and Margaret Parson of Campbellsville and Gladys Bowen of Hamilton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Kenneth Ryan Hamilton on July 16, 2001; two sisters and two brothers: Albert Wise, Richard Wise, Bessie Whitlock and Martha Rhynearson. Evelyn Seay of North Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Smith and Lula Thomas Dudgeon Smith was born January 18, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 80 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for thirty-seven years. She united in marriage to Grover Seay Jr. He preceded her in death February 21, 1972. She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Ann Wilkerson of Magnolia, Mary Lou Graham of Campbellsville and Margie Leigh of Locust Grove, Virginia; six grandchildren: Andrea Parr, Lisa Jackson, Tony Wilkerson, Rondall Beams, Susan Kerr and Tracy Brenner; ten great-grandchildren: Brandon Kerr, Randi Kerr, Laura Kerr, Megan Wilkerson, Jake Jackson, Joshua Jackson, McKayla Wilkerson, Karen Parr, Nicki Lotter and Sam Parr; three step great-grandchildren: Charity Cassidy, Faith Cassidy and Latisha Bailey; one sister, Mildred Holmes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Sarah Ethel Lawson, age 65, of Chestnut Street, Campbellsville, died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Nortons Hospital in Louisville.She was preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Lela Wilson Roy, her husband, Riley who preceded in death in April, 1999.She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Riley Joe and Tammy Lawson, Dale and Kim Lawson, two daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Billy Carmickle and Darlene Hoagland of Campbellsville, seven grandchildren and five great grand-children. Lena Hoffer of Pearl Ave, Campbellsville, formerly of Sebring, Florida, daughter of the late William Ray Rush and Bernice Gushert Rush was born December 9, 1920 in Mentone, Indiana. She died at 12:15A.M., Sunday, September 4, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 84. She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of St Johns United Methodist Church in Sebring, Florida. She was a member of the Highlands Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a retired bookkeeper.She united in marriage to Forrest V. Hoffer, October 25, 1940. He preceded her in death, November 29, 2000. She is survived by one daughter and two sons and their spouses: Jane Anne and Max Sutton of Campbellsville, James Alan and Patricia Hoffer of Sebring, Florida, and Dennis Charles and Cindy Hoffer of New Columbia, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers: Ruth Ridgway and Mary Derry of Warsaw, Indiana, Carl Rush of Beaumont, Texas, Paul Rush of Syracuse, Indiana, Virginia Hight of Etna Green, Indiana and Donald Rush of Fort Wayne, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Kenneth Hoffer and one brother, William Earl Rush. The body was cremated.
