Stanley B. DeWitt, age 79, of Scotts Ridge, Marion County, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Springview Hospital after an illness.He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Hazel Whitlock DeWitt, his first wife, Jo Ann DeWitt (01-29-2000). He was a member of the Mount Washington Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.He was united in marriage in January 2001 to Dorothy DeWitt, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Nathan DeWitt, Campbellsville, Hugh DeWitt, Elizabethtown, Ed DeWitt of Louisville, Kenneth DeWitt, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Norman DeWitt, Springfield, one step-son, Paul Wright, Hodgenville, three daughters, Hazel Gray, Campbellsville, Frances Waddle, Taylorsville, Gloria Jean DeWitt, Tennessee, one step daughter, Donna Bishop of Greensburg, seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, one brother, James DeWitt of Elizabethtown, one step brother, John Peterson of Maryland, two step sisters, Jean Abbott of Florida and Lou Byers of Big Springs, Ky.Funeral services for Stanley DeWitt will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Mr. Lyman Lincoln Floyd 83Mr. Lyman Lincoln Floyd, age 83, of Roberts Road, Campbellsville, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.He was the son of the late Early Floyd and Bessie Patterson Floyd of Green County. He was of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom Company in Campbellsville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Magdeline Floyd, one brother and two sisters, Cleston Floyd, Lois Marie Morrison and Irene Floyd.Mr. Floyd is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law and four daughters and sons-in-law, Billy and Brenda Floyd, Larry and Betty Floyd of Campbellsville, Sue and Carlos Patterson of Greensburg, Linda and Jerry Barnett and Patsy and Eddie Cowherd of Campbellsville and Lisa and Dale Petty of Columbia.
