Kenneth Hugh Bright 74Mr. Kenneth Hugh Bright, age 74, of Smith Chapel Road, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at his residence after an illness.He was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Annie Nolley Bright. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Bright, William Bright, James Bright and one sister, Rody Bagwell.Mr. Bright is survived by his wife, Angie Gilbert Bright of Campbellsville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Hugh and Debbie Bright of Campbellsville, Ronnie Joe and Dee Dee Bright of Paducah and Larry Neal and Stephanie Bright of Campbellsville, ten grandchildren, one step grandchild and three great grandchildren. Elizabeth Perkins of Court Street, Campbellsville, daughter of Faye Thomas Phipps Colvin and the late Rev. Richard H. Phipps was born November 20, 1947 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 11:40 A.M., Friday, December 10, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 57 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church.She retired from GTE after many years of service and was a former employee of Green River State Park. She is survived by one daughter Cheryl Perkins; two grandchildren: Dakota Perkins and Brittany Perkins; her mother, Faye Phipps Colvin, two sisters and one brother and their spouses: Linda and Jimmy Milby, Kenneth and Emma Phipps, and Kathy and Timmy George all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Patton of South Clark Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Willie Patton and Ethel Brown Patton was born July 6, 1929 in Casey County, Kentucky He died at 9:00 P.M., Saturday, December 11, 2004 in Huntington, West Virginia. Age: 75 He professed faith in Christ and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He was a carpenter and enjoyed farming. He was employed at General Electric in Evendale, Ohio as a welder on jet engines for some thirty-five years.He united in marriage to Nora Garrett April 27, 1953. Mrs. Needham graduated from Western Kentucky University, in 1945, where she received a degree in education and a minor in chemistry. She worked as a chemist with TVA and Auburn She also taught in West Virginia. She was united in marriage to Robert Needham in September of 1945. They came to Campbellsville in 1952 and she lived in Campbellsville until January of 2000 when she moved to Kansas City to be near her daughter. Mrs. Needham was a strong Christian and a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church for many years.
