Lois E. Appleby, age 81, of RavineWay, Campbellsville, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pearl Higgenbothem Glover, her husband, Chester Appleby, and one son James Appleby..She is survived by four sons, Allen Appleby, Henry Appleby of Campbellsville, Arnold Appleby of Liberty and Franklin Appleby of Columbia, four daughters, Anna Appleby of Columbia, Phyllis Ritchey and Emma Jean Wheeler of Campbellsville and Wanda Wilson of Liberty, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Also surviving one brother, George Glover of Louisville and one sister Edith Coakley of Campbellsville, along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Funeral services for Lois E. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He united in marriage to Altha Newton January 27, 1923.
