James L. Cox, of Wray Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Floyd Cox and Callie M. Swafford Cox was born September 14, 1944 in Taylor County, Kentucky. Irene Caffee of Lexington, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Bluford Benningfield and Willie Fisher Benningfield was born December 21, 1902 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:10 A.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2004, in Lexington. Age: 101 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She united in marriage to Halicy Caffee December 21, 1921. He preceded her in death January 26, 1987. She is survived by four grandchildren and their spouses: Deborah and Dan Dawe of Lennox, South Dakota, Sharon and Ben Reynolds of Lexington, David and Sue Greer of Taylorsville, North Carolina and Judy and Doug Black of Louisville; six great-grandchildren: Todd Reynolds and his wife Erika, Jeffrey Reynolds, Amy Greer, Kelly Greer, Bradley Black and Brittany Black; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Caffee of Campbellsville; one son-in-law, Joe Greer of Louisville; several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Ray Caffee, March 16, 1999 and Marjorie Greer, November 9, 1977; two sisters and one brother: Bessie Tungate, Nora Bower and Howard Benningfield. Geraldine Myers of Myers Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Tom Sharp and Hallie Milby Sharp was born June 14, 1932 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 9:54 P.M., Sunday, August 1, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 72She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Bill Myers December 17, 1949. Harold PittmanMr. Harold Pittman, age 52 of Merrimac Peck Road, Elkhorn, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington after a sudden illness.He was the son of the late Chester and Stella Lowe Pittman. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Clay Pittman and one sister, Betty Jean Pittman.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Clark Pittman, two sons, Harold Pittman, Jr. And Terry Clay Pittman both of Campbellsville , two brothers, Eugene Pittman of Lebanon and Ronnie Pittman of Campbellsville, five sisters, Wanda Gribbins, Charlene Muncie and Linda Sluder of Campbellsville, Carolyn Yates and Thelma Childrens of Lebanon.
