Gene Pierce of Campbellsville, formerly of Owensboro, son of the late Alvin Rosco Pierce and Mattie Ermine Brewer Pierce, was born July 6, 1924, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:13 A.M., Monday, August 3, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 91
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro.
He was a retired employee of Phillips Electronics North America.
He is survived by one step-son, Herbie Cook of Owensboro; three sisters and one brother: Louise Manasco and husband, Jesse, Geneva Hunt and husband, Ed and Juanita Perkins of Campbellsville and Kenny Pierce and wife, Shirley of Allendale; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne Sue Pierce July 12, 2015 and two brothers, Paul Pierce and Ed Pierce and one sister and two brothers in infancy.

Huston Leslie “Sonny” Mardis of Campbellsville, son of the late Harry Leslie Mardis and Mary Elizabeth Smith Mardis, was born May 25, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:20 A.M., Monday, August 3, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 62
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He is survived by a special cousin and caregiver, Ann Cox and husband, Butch of Campbellsville, as well as his many friends and caregivers at Grandview Nursing & Rehab and many other cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three aunts and five uncles, including two special aunts who were also caregivers, Margaret Acree and Frances Smith.

McColley
Robby McColley, age 32, of Campbellsville died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.
Robby was born October 18, 1982 in Campbellsville, KY. He was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church and loved video games, comics and trivia.
He was predeceased by a grandmother, Connie Christie; grandfather, Donald Christie; and grandmother, Marcella Fisher.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie Druin; step-father and step-mother, Henry and Patty McColley; his father, Bobby Fisher; sisters, Khandin McColley; Karissa Skaggs and her husband, Josh; Amythyst McColley and her fiancé, Joseph Benham; a brother, Taz McColley, a grandfather, Robert Earl Fisher, a step grandmother, Vivian Christie and a special aunt, Denise (Gary) Walters, all of Campbellsville and a grandmother, Beverly Brown of Colorado. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Zavian McColley, Kaylee Skaggs, Draven Skaggs, Jackson Skaggs and Amaurie Benham.
The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, with Bro. Haywood Riner and Bro. Brian Rafferty officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Campbellsville.
Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Walters, Tray Flinchum, Taz McColley, Cade Ray, Josh Skaggs and Chris Currans. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Sapp, Tom Christie, Tommy Houston, Bob Clark and Joey Benham.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 2 from 2 – 5 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, Campbellsville.
