Belle Campbell Kessler of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. J.D. Campbell and Celia Osborne Campbell, was born February 15, 1921 in Taylor County, Kentucky.
She died at 1:40 A.M., Friday, July 15, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Church of God.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and had also worked at American Needle Craft.
She united in marriage to Ottis Kessler on March 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1983.
She is survived by two daughters: Donna Baker and husband, Bobby of Campbellsville and Bettie Thompson of Hardyville; two grandchildren: Vonda Reynolds of Munfordville and Brett Thompson of Hardyville; five great-grandchildren: Amber Reynolds, Aaron Thompson, Andy Thompson, Nathan Reynolds and Katelyn Jessi; one great-great-grandchild, Oakley Jessi; three brothers and two sisters: Earl Campbell of Campbellsville, Clarence Campbell of Virginia, Willard Campbell of Massachusetts, Rose Williams of Glasgow and Edna Dixon of Illinois; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Campbell of Campbellsville; one brother-in-law, Lester Cox of Illinois and a special friend, Dreama Rafferty of Campbellsville.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald Thompson; three brothers and three sisters: Albert Campbell, Howard Campbell, Charles Junior Campbell, Connie Lester, Bonnie Cox and Barbara McCowen.

Tony “Big Daddy” Stubbs, age 78, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his home.
Tony was born on August 31, 1937 in Taylor County to the late Curry and Virginia Sallee Stubbs. He was a member of Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed farming, auto racing, especially NASCAR and tractor pulls. He liked making fried apple pies and just loved to talk to anybody he could find to talk to, but most of all he enjoyed being Grandpa to the grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Clark Stubbs; a daughter, Tammy Angela Wright and her husband, Matt; a son, T. P. Stubbs and his wife, Gidget, all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Dawn Turner and her husband, Jon, Kristy Bennett and her husband, Mark, Misty Wooldridge and her husband, Richard and Klein Stubbs and six great-grandchildren, Callie and Cade Turner, Lydia Bennett, Blayne Dickerson, Cole Wright and Mia Wooldridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Elizabeth and Buster Allen.
A Celebration of the Life of Tony Stubbs will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 15th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Morris “Pompano” Beard, age 77, of Campbellsville passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
He retired from Ford Motor Co. in Cleveland, OH where he worked in several roles over 32 years. Following retirement, he operated Pompano’s Bait Shop at Campbellsville City Lake for 23 years. He was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple and was a member of Medina (OH) Masonic Lodge where he was a Past Grand Master. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and he also appreciated how swing speed training could enhance performance and enjoyment on the course. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nona Faye Cox Beard; two sons, Aaron Dale Beard and his wife, Lorraine, of Wadsworth, OH and Shawn David Beard, of Campbellsville; a daughter, Tanya Algee and her husband, Joseph of Geneva, FL; four grandchildren, Tashina Walters of Orlando, FL, Crystal Lynn Wells and her husband, Charlie of Tallmadge, OH, Nathaniel Morris Algee of Geneva, FL and Jared Beard of Rittman, OH; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Wells and Isabelle Marie Wells; a sister, Bernadean Bischel of Cleveland, OH; a niece, Kimmi Dunn of Bay Village, OH and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony D. Beard and mother, Shellie Beard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Gillespie and Bro. Jase Diven officiating. Following cremation, private entombment will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
