Jacqueline “Jackie” Quinn Young, age 78 of Knifley

Jacqueline, “Jackie” Quinn Young, age 78, died unexpectedly Friday, April 3, 2015 at her home in Knifley.

Born in Knifley, on November 22, 1936, she was a homemaker and a member of the Brethren in Christ Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Spires; her first husband, Charles Ray Quinn who died on December 25, 1991 and a daughter, Sandra Kerr.  She later married Maxie Young who died on Feb. 1, 2000.

She is survived by her sons, Kenny Quinn and his wife, Jackie and Randy Quinn and his wife, Melinda, of Knifley, six grandchildren, Chris Quinn, Lyndi Kerr-Hagan, LeAnn Bland, Chuck Quinn, Beth Wethington and Meranda Quinn, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 8th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home  with Bro. Dave Book officiating.  Burial will follow in Quinn Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Quinn, Chuck Quinn, Doug Bunch, Jeremy Wethington, Skylar Edelen and Evan Quinn.  Jaxon Bland will be an honorary pallbearer.

The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Brethren in Christ Church of Knifley and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Joyce Overton Griffin of Bardstown, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Orvil Overton and Mabel Colvin Overton, was born August 26, 1941, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:10 P.M., Friday, April 3, 2015 in Bardstown. Age: 73
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Jeff Griffin of Richmond, Virginia and Beth Griffin of Texas; five grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Jim Overton of Elizabethtown, Carolyn Belk of Louisville and Louise Gray of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Geraldine Hardesty and Norma Jean Willis.

Jace Aaron Atwood of Campbellsville, infant son of Daniel Aaron Atwood and Shana Miller, was born and died March 23, 2015, in Taylor County, Kentucky.
Besides his parents, Daniel Atwood and Shana Miller of Campbellsville, he is survived by grandparents, Fred and Renee Miller of Campbellsville, Anthony Atwood of Lebanon and Francine Veatch of Tennessee; great-grandparents: Pat Pritchard, Gene and Velma Atwood and Roxie Mitchell of Campbellsville;
several aunts and uncles and many other relatives.
