Dorothy Allen Holmes, age 90, of Campbellsville passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at The Grandview in Campbellsville.
She was born on February 14, 1925 in Adair County to the late Henry Allen and Rilda Russell Cundiff. Dorothy was an active member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Taylor County Homemakers, a 4-H leadership sponsor, and enjoyed traveling.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Holmes, and her brother, Edwin Russell Cundiff.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Holmes and his wife, Rachel of Paris, Kentucky, and Maurice Holmes and his wife, Lisa of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, John Holmes and his, wife Erica of Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Amanda Rowland and her husband Dr. Aaron Rowland of Danville, Christopher Holmes of Paris, Kentucky, and Jessica and her husband, Matt Schartz of Farmers Branch, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Alexandria Jane Rowland and Aubrey May Rowland; and one sister-in-law, Gail Cundiff of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, March 30th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 pm Sunday, March 29th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Residence Council Fund at The Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center and can be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home

Doris Jean Bodkins Nelson, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Clarence Bodkins and Mary Bradshaw Bodkins, was born February 21, 1944, in Denton, Texas. She died at 7:45 A.M., Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Campbellsville.
Age: 71
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
She united in marriage to Woodrow Nelson April 27, 1963. He preceded her in death September 3, 2014.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Loretta Morgan and husband, Randy, Joe Nelson and wife, Peggy of Campbellsville and Glenn Nelson of Louisville; ten grandchildren: Joe Nelson, Alicia Nelson, Kasey Shae Nelson, Timmie Nelson, Dustin Morgan, Randy Morgan Jr., Skyler Morgan, Tammy Perkins, Amanda Pierce and Jackie Curtsinger; thirteen great-grandchildren: Layla Wilds, Addison Nelson, Braxton Morgan, Gracelynn Morgan, Bella Grace Morgan, Alex Arnett, Caydin Perkins, Zachary Curtsinger, Hayley Curtsinger, Colton Curtsinger, Jaden Pierce, Kayden Melson and Kensley Melson; two sisters: Janice Ferguson and husband, Bill and Patsy Vernon of Grand Prairie, Texas; three sisters-in-law: Opal Nelson, Helen Jean Bell and Mary Whitlock of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Hershel Nelson January 16, 1990 and one step son, Keith Nelson June 25, 2010.

Rick Anderson, of Campbellsville, son of Vivian Russ Anderson and the late Olden Coba Anderson, was born April 11, 1956, in Noblesville, Indiana. He died at 4:06 A.M., Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 58
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a supervisor at Perfecto Manufacturing in Noblesville, Indiana and also at Wal Mart in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Karen Graham May 1, 2011.
Besides his wife, Karen Anderson, he is survived by three sons and one daughter: Ricky Lee Anderson, Jr. and wife, Tonya of Arcadia, Indiana, Michael Lee Anderson of Tipton, Indiana, Dustin Coba Anderson and wife, Andrea and Abbie Danielle Anderson of Campbellsville; two step-children: Joe Keith of Glasgow and Crystal Nallia and husband, James of New Haven; ten grandchildren: Angela Crane, Skylar Crane, Gracie Anderson, Rihanna Anderson, Izabel Anderson, Lucas Anderson, Cole Nallia, Makayla Nallia, Andy Nallia and Holly Nallia; his mother, Vivian Anderson of Noblesville, Indiana; his grandmother, Lenice Russ of Noblesville, Indiana; two brothers and one sister: Terry Anderson and wife, Thomasina, Randy Anderson and wife, Lisa and Cindy Anderson of Noblesville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Anderson in infancy.
