Raikes PicMr. Jimmy Raikes, Campbellsville, the son of the late Bill and Christine Alberson Raikes, was born July 28, 1953 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday Louisville at the Hosparus Care Center. He was 61 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Latter Day Saint and was a automobile mechanic, having worked at Goodyear for over 19 years, where he was nicknamed “Okie Dokie”.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Donald and Peggy Raikes of Campbellsville; two daughters and sons-in-law: Jamia and Shane Murley of Campbellsville and Amy Raikes and Curtis Hartman of Casey County.
Also three brothers: Hubert and Edith Raikes and Herbert and Dola Raikes both of Bradfordsville, Billy Mattingly and fiancée Janice of Raywick; a sister: Gayle and Buddy McNear of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Cordie Raikes, Kaleigh Murley, Tyler Raikes and DJ Raikes all of Campbellsville and Brandon Sutton and Shawn Sutton of Snyder, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Raikes was preceded in death by three brothers: David Allen Raikes, Michael Raikes and Randall Raikes.

The funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Raikes will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Marion County.
Visitation from 2-8 PM on Sunday and after 8 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the funeral expense fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

Joseph Rufus Wade, 70

Joseph Rufus Wade, the son of the John “Jack” and Bessie Gribbins Wade, was born June 14, 1944 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Taylor County as the result of an automobile accident. He was 70 years of age.
He was a lifelong farmer and worked planting a crop shortly before his death on Thursday.
He united in marriage to Maureen Jean Ward (Stamper), who preceded him in death on August 20, 2013.
Survivors include his sister: Ann Sutty of Campbellsville; his step-children: Michael L. Stamper of Radcliff, KY, Orlando Stamper, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, KY, Angela S. Brito of Wichita, KS, and Annette Webb of Milford, DE; six step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Ernest and William Wade and a sister: Shirley Blankenship.
Cremation rites for Mr. Joseph Rufus Wade were chosen. There will be no public visitation or funeral.

John Webster of Campbellsville, son of Cynthia Moss Webster and the late Lawrence Lee Webster, was born August 14, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:20 P.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 61
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
John was best known as a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and was a devoted Christian. In his past time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on hot rods with his son, Aaron.
He was an employee of Joy Mining in Lebanon.
He united in marriage to Bonnie Faulkner February 10, 1973.
Besides his wife, Bonnie Webster of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Aaron Webster and wife, Dawn and Leslie Sprowles and significant other, Ryan Shofner of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, McKayla Sprowles of Campbellsville; two-step-grandsons: Dustin Bennett and Dalton Bennett of Campbellsville; his mother, Cynthia Webster of Campbellsville; one brother, Bobby Webster and wife, Anita of Cane Valley; one sister-in-law, Beverly Lee of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana Carter.
