Shirley Bennett 002Shirley Bennett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Chester Benningfield and Ivan Martin Benningfield was born, April 16, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Campbellsville.    Age: 75

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul Bennett Jr.

She is survived by one son, Larry Bennett of Campbellsville and three sisters: Kay Shipp and Christine Benningfield of Campbellsville and Doris Price and husband, Michael of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Annie Ree Wilcoxson 002Annie Ree Wilcoxson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Claude Philyaw and Dolly Swafford Philyaw, was born in Mountain Rest, South Carolina January 26, 1932. She died at 4:00 A.M., Friday, October 10, 2014 in Campbellsville.

Age: 82

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Presbyterian faith.

She was a sales clerk at Big K and Walmart.

She united in marriage to James E. Wilcoxson, who preceded her in death September 17, 2004.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter: Carl Whitaker of Campbellsville, Larry Whitaker of Tigrett, Tennessee, Tommy Whitaker of Frenchburg, Janie Dial of Greensburg and Jeffrey Whitaker of Elk Horn; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Kerry “Bill” Philyaw and Demetrius “Betty” Philyaw of Frenchburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Philyaw.

July 9, 1946. He died at 8:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Burkesville.      Age:   68

He was a retired park ranger with the Kentucky State Parks.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Clif Taylor of Columbia; two grandchildren: Morgan Gabehart and husband, Patrick of Campbellsville and Cayela Harris of Columbia; two great-grandchildren: James Ceaton Harris and Conleigh Harris; three brothers and one sister: Bobby Nuckols and wife, Dee of Versailles, Jerry Nuckols and wife, Debbie of Indianapolis, Indiana, Daryl Nuckols and wife, Debbie and Dolores Wright and husband, Brice of Noblesville, Indiana; his beloved canine companion, Jessie; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Thomas Nuckols in 1969 and one sister, Sherry Nuckols.
