Donald Edward Christie of Campbellsville, son of the late Ed Christie and Maude Harden Christie, was born July 1, 1938, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died¬ at 3:03 P.M., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 76
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He retired as Sergeant First Class after twenty years of service. He was awarded numerous decorations including: the Army of Occupation Medal (Berlin), Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver Star, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal.
He loved to talk, never met a stranger and was an avid bingo player.
He was a member of the American Legion Edwards O’Banion Post No. 82.
He united in marriage to Vivian Wilcher November 11, 1988.
Besides his wife, Vivian Wilcher Christie of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Debbie Druin of Campbellsville; two step-daughters: Jennifer Allen and husband, David and Denise Walters and husband, Gary Wayne of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren: Robby McColley,Khandin McColley, Karissa Skaggs and husband, Josh, Amythyst McColley, Taz McColley, Jesse Walters and wife, Natalie, Kyle Newton, Austin Allen, Cade Ray and Tray Flinchum; five great-grandchildren: Zavian McColley, Kaylee Skaggs, Draven Skaggs, Jackson Skaggs and Amaurie Benham; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rindi Christie 2005; one
step-son, Jimmy Goode 1994; three brothers and four sisters: Merlin Christie, Harland Christie, Garnett Christie, Audrey Bright, Jean Rooks, Edna Irene Robbins and Mayola Campbell.

Charles Alan “Butch” Gabehart of Campbellsville, son of the late Hubert R. Gabehart and Amelia A. McDonald, was born May 28, 1947, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died¬¬¬¬ at5:45 P.M., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 67
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp.
He was a retired Semi-truck driver.
He is survived by two daughters: Amanda Gabehart and Ashley Gabehart; four grandchildren: McKensie Johnson, Madison Johnson, Eli Johnson and Emma Johnson all of Campbellsville; one brother, John L. Gabehart and wife, Ruth of Jeffersonville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Underwood.

William David McMahan, 78, of Campbellsville died Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Campbellsville.
Born October 14, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Henry Graves McMahan and Mary Burress McMahan.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and received a honorable discharge. He and his brother, Eugene, went into business together in 1965 making cherry furniture, carrying on a family tradition for 50 years. He continued to make furniture until 2014.
He was married to Alice Dauphene Walker on August 22, 1964, survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Dianne Bertram and her husband, Gary of Campbellsville; a grandson, Zach Bertram; a granddaughter, Macayla Bertram, both of Campbellsville; four brothers, James McMahan and Eugene McMahan and his wife Linda, of Campbellsville, Truman McMahan and his wife, Joyce of Louisville and Edgar McMahan and his wife, Lynn of North Carolina and four sisters, Mary Hedgespeth and her husband, Larry of Campbellsville, Faye Eggenberger and her husband, Howard of Minnesota, Anna Marie McMahan, of Greensburg and Bonnie Yeakey and her husband, Scott of North Carolina. Numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, Campbellsville. Due to the holiday, the burial with military honors will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 26th at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
The family request visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 23rd at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church or Gideon Bibles and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
