Mr. Joseph Fredrick Quinn, Sr. was born on April 2, 1935 in Providence, Rhode Island, and departed this life on June 6, 2014 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 79 years of age. He was the son of the late Clifford and Eleanor (Cavanaugh) Quinn. Mr. Quinn worked as a dye and pigment printer in the textile industry. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith.

He leaves behind:
Five sons: Joseph Fredrick Quinn, Jr. and wife Jennifer, William Mitchell Quinn, and Edward Arthur Quinn, all of Rhode Island, Brian Gregory Quinn and wife Tammy of Edmonton, KY, and Shawn Tyler Silva of Campbellsville,
One sister: Judith Feeney of Rhode Island,
A long-time companion: Susan Silva of Campbellsville,
And several other friends and family members.

Besides his parents, Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by a brother and sister: John Quinn and Joan Carney.

Funeral services were held privately at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

Kimble Parker Jessie of Campbellsville, son of Titus Jessie and the late Eula Fudge Jessie, was born May 8, 1946 in Adair County, Kentucky.  He died at 10:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 10, 2014, in Campbellsville.    Age: 68

He professed faith in Christ and is a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church where he had served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and on the Church Board.

He was retired owner and operator of Jessie Insurance Agency.

He was a former active member of the Campbellsville Jaycees, Little League baseball in Campbellsville for twenty or more years, a member of the Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568 F.&A.M., and was a member of the Campbellsville University Advancement Board.

He united in marriage to Julie Spratt July 10, 1970.

Besides his wife, Julie Jessie, he is survived by three sons and their wives: Scott and Jenny Jessie of Campbellsville, Adam and Ashley Jessie of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Rev. Blake and Emily Jessie of Greensburg; nine grandchildren: Hunter Jessie, Brayden Jessie, Taylor Jessie, Carson Jessie, Jase Jessie, River Jessie, Parker Jessie, Josiah Jessie, and Baby Jessie; his father and step-mother, Titus and Amy Jessie of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Jessie March 23, 1988.

Barbara Dabney of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Everett Allen and Lena Mae Phillips Allen Douglas was born November 23, 1941 in Elkhorn, Taylor County, Kentucky.

She died at 1:50 P.M., Monday, June 9, 2014, in Campbellsville.             Age: 72

She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She had taught Sunday School for some 49 years.

She was a graduate of Campbellsville College with a degree in psychology and sociology and a minor in education and attained a master’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Education with an emphasis in Counseling.

She was employed with Adanta for ten years. She and Irene Melton formed the Caregivers Support Group and she was a founder and Grand Marm of the Campbellsville Red Hatters “Hattitude” Club.

She was named CKNJ’s Woman of the Year in 2010.

She united in marriage to Donald Dabney February 10, 1962.

Besides her husband, Donald Dabney of Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter, Kristi Dabney Peterson and one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Allen Dabney and Susan Dabney of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Kendall Blair Peterson, Trey Peterson, Donald Manis Dabney, Paige Dabney and Peyton Hershel Dabney; one niece, Missy Allen and her daughter, Alicia of Columbus, Ohio; Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Reed Wilson of Campbellsville; chosen family, Mildred (Mrs. George) Willson of Campbellsville, several cousins and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Keith Allen and her grandparents, Jim and Maggie Allen and Robert and Mary Phillips.
