Mr. James Garland Hoskins, age 42 of Campbellsville, passed away on Tuesday at his home.

Survivors include his wife: Patricia Hoskins of Campbellsville.

Two sons: Robert Lefler of Henry County, KY and Jeremy Lee Dearing of Campbellsville.

Two daughters: Candice Dawn Hoskins of Henry County, KY and Danielle Denay Hoskins of Shelby County, KY.

One brother: Julian Hoskins, Jr and wife Melinda of Louisville and one sister: Barbara Hoskins, all of Louisville.

The funeral for Mr. James Garland Hoskins will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. on Friday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Family requests visitation after 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home

Memorials are suggested to the funeral expense fund and may be left at the funeral home.

Bertha Forrest

Bertha Forrest of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Silas Tedder and Nettie Hamm Tedder, was born in Casey County, Kentucky, February 5, 1926.   She died at 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Greensburg.       Age: 88

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.

She united in marriage to Alfred P. Forrest March 19, 1948.   He preceded her in death April 7, 2001.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter:  Preston Forrest and wife, Linda and Shirley Sapp and husband, Michael of Campbellsville and Lee Forrest of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren:  Matthew Forrest and wife, Lindsay of Campbellsville, Timmy Forrest and wife, Selina of Chicago, Jason Sapp of Campbellsville and Dr. Christy Sapp and husband, Matthew Harpold of Edgewood, Kentucky; three great-grandchildren:  Gabriel Forrest, Aiden Forrest and Charlotte Harpold; three sisters and three brothers:  Nannie Knifley of Campbellsville, Betty Jean Kilby and husband, Earl of Columbus, Indiana, Mary Ann Talbott of Madison, Indiana, Troy Tedder and wife, Beverly of Columbus, Indiana, Roy Tedder and wife, Laurene of Campbellsville and Jesse Tedder and wife, Janet of Columbus, Indiana; one brother-in-law, Herman Seaborne of Columbus, Indiana; special caregiver, Dean Hudgins of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by four sisters:  Elma Rouse, Celestine Redmon, Dorothy Seaborne and Nora Jewell.

Gerald Thomas Ford

Gerald Thomas Ford age 60, of Campbellsville, died Friday, March 14, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center after an extended illness.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Spradlin Ford of Campbellsville. Two sons and one daughter, Christopher Thomas Ford of Minnesota, Travis Chad Ford of Campbellsville, and Jennifer Sharon Haffly of Winchester. Three grandchildren, Ezekiel Thomas Ford, Rinoa Raine Haffly and John Marcum Ford Craine, his mother Eula Mae Emerson Ford of Campbellsville his brother, William Kent Ford and his mother-in-law Helen Spradlin both of Campbellsville.

Gerald was prededed in death by his father William E. Ford and a sister, Phyllis Rainwater.
Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Thomas Ford were held at 2 PM Tuesday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County DAV Chapter 70.

The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Kentucky Organ Donors Affiliates or Gideon Bibles.
