Frank Page Smith, a resident of Campbellsville his entire life and winter resident of Naples, Florida, son of the late Proctor Ray Smith and Mary Katherine Page Smith, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 21, 1924. He died at 11:22 A.M., Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Avow Hospice Home in Naples, Florida after an extended illness. Age: 89
He professed faith in Christ and in 2011, was honored for being the oldest, continuous male member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was discharged during World War II.
He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F&AM for more than sixty years.
He was a retired building contractor, developing three subdivisions, Green Acres, Holly Brook and Cedar Creek. and opening two streets, Southern Drive and Oriole Lane. He built approximately five hundred houses in and around Campbellsville. He served on the Campbellsville Housing Board for forty years.
He was Taylor County Fair Board president and was on the board of directors of Citizens Bank and Trust Company.
He will be remembered for his love of people and his love of travel.
He united in marriage to Nell Tapscott March 6, 1943.
Besides his wife of almost seventy-one years, Nell Tapscott Smith, he is survived by one son and one daughter: William Ray Smith and wife, Judy and Janet Paige Feese and husband, Mitchell of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Dr. Jeff Smith and wife, Dr. Kristin Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jennifer Toprani and husband, Steve of Monongahela, Pennsylvania Eric Lane and wife, Kelly of Campbellsville and Kristi Jill Feese of Jamestown; five great- grandchildren: Tommy Smith, Madalyn Smith, Madison Lane, Will Toprani and Sophie Paige Toprani; one sister, Frances Helen Faulkner of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Laura Etta Smith of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson Mason Elliot Lane and brother, Richard Lee Smith.

Lou Montgomery, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late French Combs and Ethel Whitaker Combs, was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky. She died at 12:10 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Montgomery; one daughter and one son: Stephanie Montgomery and husband, Matthew of Louisville and Kris Mullins and wife, Melissa of Lexington; five grandchildren: Greyson Montgomery, Piper Montgomery and Morgan Montgomery of Louisville, Cooper Mullins and Presley R. Mullins of Lexington; one brother and two sisters: Harlis Combs, Bea Patrick and Mildred Combs of Dayton, Ohio; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Richard Montgomery of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Wallace Combs, Sam Combs, Willard Combs and Edith Gross.

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Chelf, age 93, died Saturday at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.
Mary Evelyn Chelf was the daughter of the late Omerie Dunbar and Wallace Goode, she was also preceded in death by one son; Danny Chelf, One Daughter; Margaret Wise, one Grandson; Patrick Chelf, Five Brothers; Charles Goode, John Goode, Welby Goode, Eddie Goode and Leonard Goode, Four Sisters; Della Holcomb, Bertha Godsey, Ruby Michaels and Lillie Goode.
Mary worker for many years at Lucky Vista Motel and was a member of Lowell Ave. Baptist Church. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
She is survived by five children and spouses, Floyd and Mary Chelf of Louisville, Roger Chelf of Missouri, Greg and Connie Chelf of Campbellsville, Carolyn and Dallas Propes of Liberty, Linda and Roger Withers of Campbellsville, one son-in-law and wife Everette and Debbie Wise of Shepherdsville, Fifteen grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren also survive along with a special friend, Bernetta Chelf.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Evelyn Chelf were held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
