Yvonne “Granny” Bell

Yvonne “Granny” Bell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Perry Atwood and Mary Bet Phelps Atwood, was born in Casey County, Kentucky, October 3, 1937.   She died at 3:52 A.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Campbellsville.   Age:   76

She was a retired waitress at Huber’s and Pizza Hut.

She is survived by one daughter and three sons:  Benita Noel and Tim Bell and special friend, Missy Rogers of Campbellsville and Clifton Bell and Phillip Bell and wife, Stacia of Liberty; six grandchildren:  Casey Noel, David Noel and wife, Rose, Nathan Bell, Heather Bell Grant, Cody Smith and Matthew Rogers; six great-grandchildren:  Dylan Grace Noel, Shawn Noel, Connor Bell, Miriah Grant, Lauren Grant, Kaylyn Grant; one sister, Faye Wethington and husband, Buck of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Bell, and five brothers and two sisters:  Vernon Atwood, Hendon Atwood, Ray Atwood, Earl Atwood, Adolph Atwood, Catherine Atwood and Benita Atwood.

James “Jim” Bauman

James (Jim) Bauman of Campbellsville, formerly of Melbourne, Florida son of the late Wilson Bauman and Helen Wilson Bauman, was born in Salem, Oregon, May 11, 1943. He died at 11:50 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Campbellsville.         Age:  70

Now retired, he graduated as a civil engineer and spent most of his career as a building contractor. For thirteen years Jim worked as administrator for the Tabernacle Church where he also served as elder and Bible study leader. Before moving to Campbellsville, he attended Calvary Chapel and it’s Breaking Bread for men as well as going to a number of mission trips.  He also enjoyed his time spent as a volunteer at the Brevard Zoo and doing Meals on Wheels

He united in marriage to Charlene Wenz December 19, 1964.

Besides his wife, Charlene Bauman, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Becky Pinson and husband, Brian of Campbellsville, Debbie Heger and husband, Scott of Wesley Chapel, Florida and James Bauman of Melbourne , Florida; six grandchildren: mother and father-in-law: Lillian Irving and husband, Harry of Melbourne, Florida; sister-in-law: Bonnie DiCrocco and husband, Val of Melbourne, Florida; four nephews.

Kenny “Pops” Mings

Kenny (Pops) Mings of Campbellsville, son of the late Jesse Mings and Lorene Stayton Mings, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 29, 1943. He died at 1:45 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Campbellsville.          Age:  70

He professed faith in Christ and was active in the Emmaus Community.

He served his country honorably in the Kentucky National Guard

He was a member of Lebanon Masonic Lodge #87 F&AM

He was a former bread truck driver and carpenter.

Mr. Mings is survived by former wife, Beverly Cox Mings of Campbellsville; one step-daughter: Sherry Graybeal of Campbellsville; five step-grandchildren: Lauren Simpson, Casey Sallee, Carlee Sallee, Levi Sallee and Jeffrey Howard of Campbellsville; four step-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Jesse Mings Jr. and wife, Shirley, Darryel Mings and Dean Mings of Campbellsville; four nieces and three nephews: Tracey Weddle, Kristen Dean, Deanna Borgmann, Nikki Price, Ryan Mings, Dustin Mings and Kevin Mings; and many other relatives and friends.
