Jerry Wayne Davis of Elk Horn, son of the late Charles Wayne Davis and Kathleen Frances Jones Davis was born October 15, 1955 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:20 P.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Louisville.     Age: 57

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Knifley Christian Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, Knifley School System and Cox Built Homes.

He was a member of the Casey Creek Masonic Lodge # 536 F & AM.

He united in marriage to Deborah Cox June 28, 1976.

Besides his wife, Deborah Davis of Elk Horn, he is survived by two sons:  Christopher Wayne  and wife, Leslie Pace Davis and Joseph Parker Davis and fiancée, Aubrey Skutt of Campbellsville; three grandchildren:  Parker Kate Davis, Pace McCall Davis and Paxton Bentley Davis; one sister and two brothers: Charlotte Hovious and husband, Roger and Johnny Davis of Elk Horn and Danny Grant and wife, Julia of Charleston, South Carolina; one niece, Monica Houghlin and husband Billy of Knifley and many other relatives and friends.

          Ancil Lee Farmer Jr, age 55, died Tuesday, December 18th at his residence in Taylor County.

          Ancil Lee Farmer Jr. was the son of the late Ancil Lee Farmer Sr.

          He is survived by his mother Bernice Osborne Farmer and one son Brandon Lee Farmer and mother Margie Kearney-Farmer all of Louisville, three brothers Roger (Doris) Farmer of Colorado, James Allan Farmer of Campbellsville and Michael Ottis (Nancy) Farmer, six sisters Connie Constance (Glenn) Harkness, Bonnie Kleupner, Judy Gail (Jack) Linker, Patty (Wally) Bergin, Mary Frances (Robert) Burton all of Louisville and Karen (Tommy) Kearney of Campbellsville.

          Funeral Services for Ancil Lee Farmer Jr. were conducted at 11 AM Saturday, December 22nd at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in St. France of DeSales.

Garry Dicken

Garry Dicken of Campbellsville, son of the late Homer Dicken and Alma Barr Dicken, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 4, 1950.   He died at 7:03 P.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Louisville.     Age:   62

He professed faith in Christ and attended God’s Friendship Chapel.

He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service.

He united in marriage to Barbara Shively December 6, 1968.

Besides his wife, Barbara Dicken, he is survived by two daughters:  Tammy White and husband, David and Pam Dicken of Campbellsville; four grandchildren:  Mylea White, Tanner White, Lydia Dicken and Chase Burton of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Freda Dicken of Cape Coral, Florida; an uncle, Wayne Barr of Columbia; two nieces:  Melinda King and husband, James and Kim McVay of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Windell Dicken December 18, 2004.
