Rev. William Earl Pike

Rev. William Earl Pike of Campbellsville, son of the late Chilton Pike and Florence Sanders Pike, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 12, 1929.  He died at 3:25 A.M., Sunday,

June 9, 2013, in Bardstown.     Age:   83

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Bardstown.

He was a lifetime farmer and he was a Baptist minister for more than fifty years and retired from Bloomfield Baptist Church.

He united in marriage to Louise Phillips November 8, 1944.  She preceded him in death October 8, 1997.

He united in marriage to Wanda Brown Chesser December 12, 1998.

Besides his wife, Wanda Pike, he is survived by two sons:  Gary Pike and wife, Robin of Springfield and Bill Pike and wife, Diane of Bardstown; three step-children:  Vic Chesser and wife, Tami of Louisville, Todd Chesser and wife, Kathy of Bethlehem and Leah Chesser of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren:  Matt Money and wife, Tarren of Tampa, Florida, Chad Pike and Chris Pike and wife, Karen of Bloomfield, Adam Pike and wife, Nikki of Lancaster, Andy Pike and wife, Emily of Hardyville, Jennifer Pike and fiancée, Justin Dugan and Tonya Roberts of Bardstown; eight step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren:  Hannah Money, Aaron Money, Alex Roberts, Chance Roberts, Lyndsey Vittitow, Cora Oats, Cole Pike, Cammy Pike, Caleb Pike and Rylan Pike; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Rev. Harold Pike and wife, Martha of Covington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Pike Money September 28, 2009 and two sisters:  Evelyn Biggs and Wilma Cooper.

          Mrs. Barbara Jean Fisher, age 66 of Taylor County died Sunday, June 9, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Green County.

          Barbara was the daughter of the late Delphia Richardson Clark and Ray Clark, she was also preceded in death by one sister Shirley Mills of Lebanon.

          She is survived by her husband Daniel Fisher, one son Charles Ray Shepperson both of Campbellsville, two daughters and son-in-law; Veronica Gunterman and (Michael Adams) and Tammy Jo and Jason Cox all of Campbellsville, three stepsons; Michael and (Tammy) Fisher of Campbellsville, Ricky and Barbara Fisher of Lebanon and Chris Fisher of Loretta, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild, along with a host of family and friends.

          Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Jean Fisher were conducted Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens all arrangements by Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Linda Lou Roberts

Linda Lou Roberts of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Tyler Roberts, Sr. and Oneta Baker Roberts, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 25, 1945.  She died at 8:01 A.M., Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Campbellsville.   Age: 67

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Batesville Casket Company and had worked as a caretaker and nurse’s assistant.

She is survived by two brothers and one sister:  James Roberts, Jr. and Allen Thompson of Campbellsville and Brenda Lewis and husband, Jr. of Shepherdsville; two nieces:  Vickie Coy and husband, Alan of Mt. Washington and Robin Hughes and husband, Steve of Georgetown; two great-nephews:  Zachary Hughes and Noah Hughes of Georgetown; beloved dog, Casey; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Sinkhorn.
