Clyde Stephens of Campbellsville, son of the late Omra Stephens and Hester Schwaller, was born October 26, 1936 in Jamestown, Kentucky. He died at 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
Clyde was self-employed. Among other jobs, he worked as a contractor in California and most recently, operated the KOA campground.
He united in marriage to Sue Widney, February 26, 1966.
Besides his wife, Sue Stephens of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter: Lori Goode and husband, Charles of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Savannah Gregory, Ryan Gregory and wife, Katie, Brandon Gregory, Darrin Larger, and Shawn Larger and wife, Becca; eight great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister: Doug Hayden and Sherry Haas of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Clyde was also preceded in death by one daughter: Jackie Marcum; two sisters: Shirley Martinez and Verlene McNiel.

Bobby Lynn Kessler of Campbellsville, the son of the late Walter Wayne Kessler and Dorothy Deener Kessler, was born January 19, 1942, in Campbellsville, and departed this life on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Sunrise Manor nursing home in Hodgenville. He was 83 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a former real estate associate and auction assistant for Kessler Auction and Realty Co. He was a farmer, heavy equipment operator, and owner of Bobby Kessler Excavating. He enjoyed farming, bulldozing, telling stories at Druther’s, drag racing, and picking corn with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Carrier Kessler, having united in marriage on February 12, 1988. He is also survived by seven children: Beth Birch (Chris), Russell Kessler (Margarita) of Simpsonville, Ron Kessler (Misty) of Louisville, Thomas Kessler of Shelbyville, Tony Gene Clark of Alaska, Sretta Clark Campbellsville, and Tearah McVay (Thomas) of Campbellsville, one brother: John Mark Kessler (Julie) of Campbellsville.
His grandchildren: Aaron Birch, Phillip Birch, Austin Kessler (Anna), Christian Kessler, David Birch, Megan Murphy (Kevin), Amanda Harris, Lindsey Knapp Parker (Randy), Jillian Motheral Wise (Christopher), Caitlyn Motheral Perez, Khali Grace Clark, Josiah Gage McVay, Tony Gene Clark II, Mark Clark, Alexis Moon, Mykenzi McVay, and Emilee McVay.
His great-grandchildren: Chloe Motheral, Aubrey Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Lilith Wise, Lydia Wise, Braylee Tucker, Mason Lane, River Patton, Willow Patton, Willow Patton, Bodhi Patton, Winifred Patton, Elena Harris, and Madeline Burchill.
His nephew and niece, John Wayne Kessler (Holly), and Marsha Atwood (Rhyan).
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Wayne Kessler, on February 24, 1964.
The funeral service for Bobby Lynn Kessler will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
Dr. James Jones, John Kessler, and Dr. Brian Rafferty will officiate.
The family has requested visitation on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 5 – 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be to Toys for Kids and may be made at the funeral home.

Lola Nell Sallee of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jolie Brown and Ethel Stanton Brown, was born April 2, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at her residence on September 18, 2025. Age 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington Methodist Church.
Lola was a homemaker. Her family was her greatest treasure and her grandchildren brought her so much happiness. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, support and generous heart.
Lola united in marriage to Arnold O’Neal Sallee November 2, 1957. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons: Doug Sallee, Ricky Sallee and Tony Sallee; eight grandchildren: Chasity (Anthony) Shirley, Whitney (Edward) Addams, Angela (Raleigh) Abbott, Derrick (Sara) Sallee, Christian Gage Sallee, Lily Sallee, Peggy (Murray) Webb and Blake (Kali) Sallee; fourteen great-grandchildren: Gavin, Jagger, Kingston, Lennon, Garrett, Aden, Leland, Ralpheigh, Ryleigh, Walker, Beckham, Vivienne, Tripp and Oscar.
She is also survived by one sister, Peggy Bryant, several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Archie Brown, Augusta Walters, Charles Brown, Lewis Brown, Elmer Brown, Dorothy Rash, Danny Brown and Bernice Brown and three daughters-in-law: Barbara Sallee, Linda Sallee and Lisa Sallee.
