          Connie Lynn Moore, age 55, of Cardinal Lane, Campbellsville, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.

          She was the daughter of the late Mildred Mae Sportsman and Marple Gene Moore.

          Connie was born in Brookfield Missouri and was attending International Gospel Lighthouse Church.  Connie enjoyed life on the road driving a truck and being a mom, she was a loving companion, mother, nana and friend to many.       

          She is survived by two daughters, one son and daughter-in-law, Cherokee Moore of Indiana, Brandi Escudero of Campbellsville and Justin and Carla Hoosier of Bowling Green. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Halli Sioux Allgood, Amelia Grace Escudero, and Alexis Danielle Hoosier and her companion Beril Hoosier. Two brothers, Ronald Moore of California and Donald Moore of North Carolina also survive.

          Funeral services for Connie Lynn Moore were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Callahan Cemetery.

Joshua R. Davis of Texas, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Will Davis and Donna Kessler Davis, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 16, 1977.   He died at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Conroe, Texas, after a seventeen month battle with leukemia at M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Age:    35

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas.

He was a logistics specialist with the Department of Homeland Security.

He was a member of the Rainbow Masonic Lodge #735 A.F. & A.M. in Newton, Texas.

He is survived by his parents, Will and Donna Kessler Davis of Campbellsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeremiah and Tabetha Davis of Campbellsville; maternal grandmother, Helen Kessler Browning and husband, Charles Richard of Sarasota, Florida; paternal grandfather, Garnett Davis, Sr. of Campbellsville; two nephews:  Elliott Kessler Davis and Evan Shofner Davis of Campbellsville; an aunt and uncle, Tammy and Greg Cox of Campbellsville; two cousins, Sarah Cox and Elijah Cox of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Kessler March 16, 2008 and his paternal grandmother, Bernice Hash Davis August 30, 2011.

Jane Underwood

Jane Underwood, of Lebanon Junction, daughter of the late Henry Larimore and Iva Thompson Larimore was born April 2, 1930 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died at 12:35 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2013 in Louisville. Age: 83

She united in marriage to Charles Underwood in 1950.

Besides her loving husband of sixty-three years, Charles Underwood, she is survived by one son and daughter-in- law, Dennis and Rhonda Underwood of Shepherdsville; one grandson, Zachary Underwood of Lebanon Junction; three sisters: Linda Herron and husband, Roy and Elaine Underwood of Campbellsville and Dorothy Pennington and husband, Johnnie of Mannsville; a brother-in-law, Mike Maupin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Douglas Underwood in 2008 and one sister, Martha Maupin.

VISITATION:   6 to 8 P.M., Saturday and after 7:00 A.M., Sunday
