Roger J. Bright

Roger J. Bright of Campbellsville, son of the late Delmar Bright and Myrtle Cox Bright, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, November 10, 1942.  He died at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Campbellsville.      Age:  68 

He professed faith in Christ and attended the East Campbellsville Church of  God.

He was a retired employee of Ingersoll Rand in Campbellsville.

He united in marriage to Sue Graybeal, March 31, 1962. 

Besides his wife, Sue Bright, he is survived by one son and one daughter:  Andy Bright and wife, Anya and Anita Orange and husband, Duane of Campbellsville; five grandchildren:  Tracy Harper and husband, Bo of New Haven and Amy Orange, Caleigh Bright, Gabby Bright and Kendall Bright of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren:  Alex Bell, Lilli Pierce and Dixie Harper; one brother and two sisters:  Tony Bright and Carolyn Shofner and husband, Donnie of Campbellsville and Rosaline Cooley of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stephen Bright June 15, 1971 and one brother and one sister:  Wilbur Dale Bright and Lucille Daniels.

Linda Lane Rainwater

           Linda Lane Rainwater, age 65, of Sheridan Drive Campbellsville, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her residence after an illness.

          She is survived by her husband, Lewis Rainwater of Campbellsville, two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Catherine Rainwater of Nicholasville and Ryan & Amy Rainwater of Campbellsville, four grandchildren, Clinton, Sarah, Brandon and Jacob Rainwater, her mother, Cymbeline Shofner of Campbellsville and one sister Judy Clarke of Campbellsville.

          Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery.

          Family request visitation 5-8 PM, Thursday, Arpil 7, 2011 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home.

Meth Lab Found at a Residence on KY70 in Casey County

(Casey County, KY) – On April 5, 2011, KSP Post 15 received an anonymous tip that subjects were allegedly making methamphetamine at a residence on KY70 in Casey County. Upon investigation by Trooper Kenny Perkins, an active methamphetamine lab was discovered at the residence resulting in the arrest of the following individuals and charges:

Nathan Norman, age 37, of Liberty, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st

Rebecca Hall, Age 19, of Liberty, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st

Michael Hall, age 22, of Liberty, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st

Brenda Marie Hall, age 34, of Liberty, charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Meth Precursor.

All subjects lodged in the Casey County Jail.
