Kyoko Ezaki (Kay) Troutman

Kyoko Ezaki (Kay) Troutman of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Campbellsville, was born June 29, 1937, in Manchuria, China, of Japanese parents. She died at 10:52 A.M., Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Campbellsville.    Age: 75 She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a former Wal Mart associate. She united in marriage to Robert W. Troutman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters:  Martha Clark and husband, Stephen of Tampa, Florida, Maggie Durman and husband, Michael of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mary Hulse of Nashville, Tennessee; special friend, Charlie Fox of Campbellsville; four brothers and two sisters:  Akira Ezaki, Kengi Ezaki, Makito Ezaki, Yasinori Esaki, Keiko Haseqawa, and Ikuko Sugawara all of Japan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Johnie R. Sprowles

Johnie R. Sprowles of Campbellsville, son of the late John Henry Sprowles and Rosie Price Sprowles, was born in Larue County, Kentucky, August 12, 1920.  He died at 9:45 P.M., Monday, August 6, 2012 in Campbellsville.    Age:  91 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He united in marriage to Esther Lyle January 17, 1946.  She preceded him in death March 30, 1986. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Peggie Sue Sprowles of Campbellsville; two grandchildren:  Travis Sprowles and fiancée, Tara Pierce and Jada and Shelly Gribbins and husband, Mike of Campbellsville; step-grandson, Jesse Hurdt; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Gribbins; one brother-in-law, Jessie Stiles of Campbellsville and one sister-in-law, Goldie Sprowles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Matthew Gribbins and two brothers and eleven sisters:  Willie Sprowles, Charlie Sprowles, Mayme Underwood, Lula Carlisle, Mary Wright, Sadie Hall, Letha Hedgespeth, Effie Sprowles, Lizzie Lacy, Emma Jane Sprowles, Martha Sprowles and two sisters in infancy. _______________

Merlin Wayne

Merlin Wayne of Campbellsville, son of Sarah Page Wayne and the late Walter Wayne, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 25, 1942.  He died at 1:25 P.M., Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Campbellsville.    Age:  70

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church.

He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a farmer.

He is survived by one son, Neil Wayne and his mother, Marsha Wayne of Campbellsville; one step-daughter, Nichole Salyers and husband, Logan of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren:  Chelcie Salyers, Hunter Salyers and Levi Salyers; his mother, Sarah Wayne of Campbellsville; one sister, Donna Hedges and husband, Walt of Jackson, Tennessee; and many other relatives and friends.
