Fred Gabehart of Campbellsville, son of the late Charlie L. Gabehart and Annie Colvin Gabehart, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, May 14, 1920. He died at 1:55 P.M., Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army and attaining the rank of Corporal. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.
He was a retired farmer and former employee of Taylor County High School.
He united in marriage to Christine Graham February 2, 1946. She preceded him in death December 8, 2011.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Darryl Gabehart and wife, Mary of Campbellsville, Fran Cox and husband, Steve of Greensburg, and Diane Seale of Lexington; seven grandchildren: Kim Reilly and husband, Bobby and Dianna Hunt of Scottsville, Craig Burke and Eric Seale of Lexington, Justin Beaty of Campbellsville, Brandie Atwood and husband, Richard of Greensburg, and Mindy Davis and husband, Cole of Elizabethtown; six great-grandchildren: Ashleigh Steenbergen and husband, Kevin and Shelby Hunt and fiancée, Jordan Talbott of Scottsville, Corbin Burke of Lexington, Libby Atwood and Parker Atwood of Greensburg, and Blayde Davis of Elizabethtown; four great-great-grandchildren: Haleigh Steenbergen, Raeleigh Steenbergen, Jayleigh Steenbergen, and Makenna Talbott of Scottsville; one brother, C. C. Gabehart of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Chad Patrick Rossi September 17, 1989; son-in-law, Frank Seale and one sister and two brothers: Gladys Cave, Lynn Gabehart, and Carl Gabehart.

Linda L. Hardin, age 65, died Monday at Ephriam McDowell Hospital in Danville after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Mayme Richardson.
Mrs. Hardin was a member of the Merrimac Church and lived in the Elkhorn community. Her live was devoted as a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, J.W. Hardin, two sons, Jeffrey Lee and Michael Shawn Hardin all of Merrimac and one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Ann and Ernest Conder of Danville. Four grandchildren also survive, Jasalynn and Chloe Richards, Kyle Hardin and Gage Conder. One sister, Brenda Sue McCauley of Lebanon also survives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Linda L. Hardin were conduct at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Merrimac Cemetery.

Kyoko Ezaki (Kay) Troutman of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Campbellsville, was born June 29, 1937, in Manchuria, China, of Japanese parents. She died at 10:52 A.M., Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 75 She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a former Wal Mart associate. She united in marriage to Robert W. Troutman, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters: Martha Clark and husband, Stephen of Tampa, Florida, Maggie Durman and husband, Michael of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mary Hulse of Nashville, Tennessee; special friend, Charlie Fox of Campbellsville; four brothers and two sisters: Akira Ezaki, Kengi Ezaki, Makito Ezaki, Yasinori Esaki, Keiko Haseqawa, and Ikuko Sugawara all of Japan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
