Lenneth Bartley
(1935 – 2010)
Lenneth Bartley of Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Edgar Martin Bartley and Mary Ethel Strode Bartley, was born in Monroe County, Kentucky, June 16, 1935. He died at 7:25 A.M., Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in Charlestown, Indiana. Age: 75
He was a retired employee of Campbellsville University.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Louise Milby and husband, Len of Greensburg; two granddaughters: Heather Milby of Greensburg and Ashley Milby of Summersville; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Kenneth Bartley, Leonard Bartley, and Erline Curtis.

Three Vehicle Accident at Hwy 55 and Lone Valley Road Sends Four to Taylor Regional Hospital

Trooper Justin Phillips is investigating a three vehicle collision which occurred at 6:30 p.m. at the Jct of Ky55 & Ky1061, 3 miles South of Campbellsville.  A 1988 Chrysler operated by Kevin Lee Holmes, age 25 of Columbia who was not belted, was traveling southbound on Ky55 when he struck a 2003 Ford operated by Ralph Luttrell, age 57 of Russell Springs who was belted.  Luttrell’s  vehicle was stopped waiting for a vehicle to turn onto Ky 1061.  After being struck, Luttrell’s vehicle traveled into the northbound lane striking a 1999 Buick operated by Jerome Maddox, age 67 of Louisville.  A passenger, Patricia Maddox, age 66, of Louisville was belted.  All occupants were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville for non life threatening injuries.

Trooper Phillips was assisted at the scene by Trooper Ricky Underwood.  Also assisting at the scene were units from Taylor County Sheriff Department, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Fish & Wildlife, Taylor County Fire, Campbellsville Fire and Campbellsville-Taylor County EMS.
