Michael Sprowles of Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Dencil F. Sprowles and Betty C.  Martin Sprowles was born August 10, 1957 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:07 A.M., Thursday, December 29, 2011 in Elizabethtown.      Age: 54

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

He is survived by two sisters, Jacqueline Sprowles Rabbeth of Lebanon and Sheila Douglas and husband, Billy Joe of Campbellsville; one niece and one nephew: Kyle Jacob Rabbeth of Greensburg and Amanda Lynn Bell of Campbellsville; three great nephews: Ezekiel Isaiah Bell, Carter Bell and Kaiden Milby and many other relatives and friends.

Rev. William Raymond Beard

Rev. William Raymond Beard was born February 5, 1922 and passed away on December 29, 2011. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Anna Beard; and three sisters, Juanita, Marjorie and Dorothy Beard.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Niceley Beard; two daughters, Anna (Roger) Weddle and Marilyn (Mitch) Ash; four grandchildren, Leanne, Chip (Brandi), Angela Weddle and Aaron Ash; and two great-grandsons, Quinn and Asher Weddle.

Rev. Beard served as pastor of the following churches: Round Top, Locust Grove and Valley Creek Baptist in Elizabethtown, KY; Muldraugh Hill Baptist in Lebanon, KY; Mackville Baptist in Mackville, KY; Temple Baptist in Springfield, OH; Beaver Creek Baptist in Dayton, OH; East Union Baptist in Graham, KY; Lowell Ave. Baptist in Campbellsville, KY; and Austin
Village Baptist in Warren, OH.  He also served as Taylor County Baptist Director of Missions.

Visitation for Rev. Beard will be Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, KY beginning at 5:00 P.M. The funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 P.M. with Mitch Ash, Roger Weddle and Bill Dawson presiding.  Burial will be in the Mill Springs Veteran’s Cemetery in Nancy, KY.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in the memory to Gideons International.

Delores Sharp

Delores Sharp of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Amos Reliford and Lula Burris Reliford was born July 15, 1935 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 7:06 A.M., Sunday, December 25, 2011 in Louisville. Age: 76

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to David Sharp March 14, 1953.

Besides her husband, David Sharp of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son, Tim Sharp and his special friend Lisa Buckman of Campbellsville; one sister, Hortense Richardson of Louisville, two sisters-in-law, Corrine Sublett of Campbellsville and Rosa Mae Taylor of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Reliford June 9, 1980 and Holland Reliford December 24, 1996.

VISITATION: 5:00 P.M.,  – 8:00 P.M.  Tuesday
