Head On Collision on S. Columbia Ave. Causes One Fatality

A 2001 Dodge Pickup being operated by 60 year old George Wayne Cox was traveling north on South Columbia Avenue when he crossed the center line and struck a 1991 Chevrolet Pickup being operated by 56 year old Peggy L. Huckaby, head on.  Both had to be extricated from the vechicles.  Huckaby was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville/Taylor County Rescue.  Cox was pronounced dead at the scene by Taylor County Coroner Terry Dabney.

Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Dept., Taylor County Sheriff Dept., Campbellsville-Taylor County Rescue, Campbellsville Fire Dept., and the Taylor County Coroner.
