Billy Harden

Billy Harden of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas M. Harden and Thelma Williams Harden, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 5, 1940.   He died at 10:10 P.M., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Louisville.  Age:  71

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church.

He was a retired farmer.

He united in marriage to Dorothy Goode December 6, 1958.

Besides his wife, Dorothy Harden, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Ronnie Harden and wife, Debbie of Campbellsville, Tommy Harden and wife, Sherry of  Elizabethtown and Sandra Kay Miller and husband, Cole of Eastview; five grandchildren:  Wyatt Miller, Dillon Miller, Jacob Lee, Kyle Lee and Shelby Harden; one great-grandson, Michael Lee; and many other relatives and friends.

Susie Johnson

Susie Johnson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Daniel Cavalier and Isabelle Price Cavalier, was born in Weyanoke, Louisiana  November 4, 1933.  She died at 6:00
A.M., Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Lexington.    Age:  77

She professed faith in Christ and attended the Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She united in marriage to Percy Cornelius Johnson.  He preceded her in death September 27, 1995.

She is survived by two sons and four daughters:  Evette Clay of Lexington, Anthony Johnson of Campbellsville, Ty Johnson and wife, Allison of Broomfield, Colorado, Denise Broadnax and husband, John of Alexander City, Alabama, Isabelle Roach and husband, John of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Diane Norwood and husband, Lester of Baker, Louisiana; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Cavalier and wife, Cathy of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Holifield and two brothers and two sisters:  Ledell Cavalier, Louis Cavalier, Dixie Cavalier Webster and Doretha Cavalier.

Lavoy Price

Lavoy Price of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie Sprowles and Irene Yates Sprowles, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 25, 1932.  She died at 3:15 P.M., Tuesday, October 4,
2011 in Campbellsville.    Age:  79

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church.

She retired as owner and operator of Price’s Grocery for over fifty years.

She united in marriage to Roland W. Price December 1, 1948.  He preceded her in death March 11, 1986.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Gail Price; two grandchildren:  Darrin Price and wife, Nikki and Dana Young of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren:  Audrey Young, Sadie Young, Silas Young, Lanigan Price and Lainey Price; two brothers and three sisters:  Coleman Sprowles and wife, Sue, Glevins Sprowles and wife, Ann, Geneva Shofner, Alberta French and husband, William “Buster” of Campbellsville and Chrystal Sullivan and husband, Larry of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Shively Price September 13, 2011 and one brother, Virgil Sprowles in infancy.
