Eunice Roberta Shears, age 56, of Collins Street, Campbellsville, died at Taylor Regional Hospital, Friday May 4, 2012 after an illness.
She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother Beatrice Holt and Parents Elizabeth and Calvin Chaffin. Two brothers Charles Buchanan and Macon Buckanan. Two Sisters Pam Holt and Juanita Smith.
She is survived by one son Shondeveron Shears of Bowling Green and one daughter Aiko Shears of Bardstown. Six grandchildren also survive along with five brothers and four sisters, Calvin Chaffin Jr. and Jeffrey Holt both of Campbellsville, John Buchanan, Irvin and Michael Holt, Tonya Holt, Betty Trip, Cheryl Buchanan and Berma Anderson all of Nashville.
Funeral services for Eunice Roberta Shears will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday this 10th day of May 2012, at the Pleasant Union Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Michael Caldwell Officiating.

Jade Makayla Sullivan of Campbellsville, daughter of Charlotte Farmer Sullivan and Mike Sullivan of Campbellsville, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 12, 1994. She died at 8:05 P.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Campbellsville as the result of an automobile accident. Age: 17
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Taylor County High School Class of 2012 and was employed as assistant manager of Save-A-Lot Food Store.
Besides her Mother, Charlotte Sullivan and Father and step-mother, Mike and Connie Sullivan of Campbellsville, she is survived by one sister and one brother: Shanna Sullivan of Greensburg and Jeremy Sullivan and wife, Jennifer of Lebanon; three step-sisters: Candi Pittman, Amy Thomas, and Billie Jo Hafley of Lebanon; one niece and one nephew: Abby Sullivan and Brody Judd; grandparents: Marcelena Sapp and Leon and Geneva Sullivan of Campbellsville; several aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.

(CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.) – 19-year-old Justin Atwood and 17-year-old Jade M. Sullivan, both of Campbellsville were killed Saturday, May 5, 2012 at approximately 7:08 PM EDT on US 0068, 1 mile east of Campbellsville. The collision occurred when a westbound 2009 Nissan, operated by Atwood with Sullivan as a passenger, attempted to pass a vehicle and pulled into the path of an eastbound 2006 Jeep, striking it head-on. Both vehicles overturned and came to rest on the south side of the roadway. The Jeep was operated by 21-year-old Lauren Dyer of Burkesville, KY. Dyer, the lone occupant, was wearing her seatbelt and was transported to Taylor County Regional Hospital and later transported by ambulance to UK Hospital in Lexington where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Both Atwood and Sullivan, who were not wearing seatbelts, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision is still under investigation by Tpr. Logan Richardson. He was assisted at the scene by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office and Taylor County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
