Wanda Weatherford

Wanda Faye Bertram Weatherford, 86, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Earl Bertram and Mildred Smith Bertram was born August 8th, 1938 in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and departed this life on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She united in marriage to Mr. Lewis “Bird” Weatherford on July 28th, 1954. They were married for sixty-six years before he preceded her in death on February 10th, 2021.
Wanda loved her family dearly. She loved her dog, Punkin. Wanda professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Methodist Church.

Wanda is survived by:
Two children: Patricia Porter and her husband, Ronald “Sam”; and David Weatherford and his wife, Pam, all of Campbellsville
Two grandchildren: Karen Hardin and her husband, Tye; and Janet Barnes and her husband, Dustin, all of Campbellsville
Four great-grandchildren: Lane Hardin, Lela Hardin, Jackson Barnes, and Dalton Barnes, all of Campbellsville
One sister, Betty Scott of Campbellsville
One sister-in-law, Louvenia Weatherford of Campbellsville
Her furry companion, Punkin
A host of other relatives and friends

VISITATION: Monday, September 2nd, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL: Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating. Burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

PALLBEARERS: Lane Hardin, Dustin Barnes, Tye Hardin, Mike Rucker, Woody Weatherford, Christopher Morrison, and Steve Rucker

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles which may be made at the funeral home.

Lisa Michelle Wade, 56

Lisa Michelle Wade of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Charles Leslie Mardis and Pauline Mann Mardis, was born in Campbellsville, KY, on October 29, 1967, and departed this life on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Campbellsville, KY. She was 56 years of age.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. She had previously been employed at Fruit of The Loom and for home health. She was currently a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her flowers, decorating, and being Nanna to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Darren Wade of Campbellsville, and two daughters: Natalie Rood and husband Brandon, and Amy Jo Milby all of Campbellsville. Six grandchildren: Mayci Jane Abney, McKenna Faith Rood, Hadley Jo Milby, Braxton Rood, Brody Rood, and Blakelie Blandford.

Also surviving are three sisters: Carolyn Patterson and husband John, Connie Colvin and husband Rodney, and Tammy Minor and husband Tim, all of Campbellsville. Two nephews and several nieces, along with several great-nephews and great-nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson: Bentley Scott Rood.

The funeral service for Lisa Michelle Wade will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

 Bro. Raymond Atwood will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to be donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and can be made at the funeral home.

Laura Bell Lawson, 97

Laura Bell Lawson of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Jethro C. Glenn and Ida Bacon Glenn, was born in Campbellsville, KY, on January 30, 1927, and departed this life on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Green River Trails Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY. She was 97 years of age.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and fishing.

She is survived by three children: J.C. Lawson (Peggy), Wanda Causey (Jack), and Marsha Estes, all of Campbellsville. 5 grandchildren: Jennifer Bell (Robbie), DeAnna Cropper (Jeremy), Adam Lawson (Gretchen), Stephanie Gibson (Kenton), and Laura Waymon. 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister: Henrietta Oakes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Chester “Red” Lawson, one grandchild: Erica Tiffany Lawson, and six siblings: Thomas Richard Glenn, Bobby Lee Glenn, Mary Lou Glenn, Dorothy Merideth, Edna Kilby, and Stella Martin.

The funeral service for Laura Bell Lawson will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at noon at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.

 Bro. Jimmie Nelson and Jimmie Nelson, Jr. will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Adam Lawson, Ryan Tungate, Justin Humphress, Kayden Bell, Conner Gibson, and Chase Gibson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Benzley Tucker, Bryar Tucker, Carson Tungate, Robbie Bell, Kenton Gibson, Jeremy Cropper, and David Veramontes.
