Citizens Bank Robbed

Date: 07/16/2010 Time: 1440 hrs.

Location: Citizens Branch Bank on Highway 210

Narrative: On 7/16/2010, at approximately 1440 hrs. a white male approximately 5’10, 220 lbs wearing a navy blue jacket with a white stripe across it entered the bank and demanded money. The jacket had National Guard written across the back. He had on sunglasses and a blonde wig with a pony tail. He had on blue jeans, black shoes. He had a black hat with a white label in front with red writing. He was armed with a dark colored semi-auto weapon. The suspect fled in a white SUV. There were no injuries to employees. An undermined amount of money was taken. Officers arrived at 1446 hrs. Kentucky’s jobless rate drops to 10 percent in June

Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate fell to 10 percent in June 2010, the lowest rate in 16 months, according to the Office of Employment and Training (OET), an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. The revised rate in May 2010 was 10.4 percent.

The June 2010 jobless rate is .8 percentage points lower than the 10.8 percent rate recorded in June 2009 for the state. The 10 percent rate recorded in June 2010 is the lowest unemployment rate recorded since February 2009 when the rate was 9.6 percent.
