William Elliott Billy Newton of Campbellsville, son of the late Oscar Newton and Gladys Rafferty Newton, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 17, 1951. He died at 3:37 A.M., Sunday, February 7, 2010, in Campbellsville.
Age: 58
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and former owner and operator of Leersquo;s Famous Recipe in Glasgow, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Jamestown, and Lebanon.
He is survived by one son, Billy Joe Newton and wife, Deanna of Bardstown; three grandchildren: Jacob Newton, Miles Newton, and Lydia Newton of Bardstown; five sisters and four brothers: Margaret (Larry) Gadberry, Carolyn (Jimmy) Whitlock, J. Paul (Carlene) Newton, David Alan (Angie) Newton, and Mike Newton of Campbellsville, Faye (Bob) Atcher of Radcliffe, Bonnie (Eddie) Claycomb of Bowling Green, Rick (Kim) Newton of Elizabethtown, and Shirley Maupin of Owensboro; sister-in-law, Ruth Newton of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Jan Cates May 31, 1991 and Dorris Ray Newton November 18, 1994.

Coakley Hoosier, age 79, of Liberty, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his residence after an illness.
He was the son of the late Houston and Lottie Burress Hoosier. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Hoosier and Jack Hoosier, and two sisters, Velma Bailey and Wilma Karnes.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Hoosier of Liberty, one daughter and son-in-law, Maelynn and James Alfred Appleby of Casey County, two grandchildren, James Coakley Dooley and Crystal Ann Sallee, two great grandchildren, Jacob Allem and James Malchi Dooley, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bradley Ruby Hoosier and Willie Betty Hoosier all of Campbellsville, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Hettie McDonald of Casey County, Nellie Goode Onie and Johnny Abell, Zelma and Bobby Lotter all of Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Albert Guinn Skaggs, 74 of Old Mac Road, Campbellsville, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
He was the son of the late Robert Earl and Mattie Matherly Skaggs. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Skaggs (January 2007), one son, Jerry Skaggs (November 2006).
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tammy Skaggs and one daughter and son-in-law, Gwendolyn and Melvin Skaggs all of Campbellsville, four grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Jessica Skaggs, Rachel Skaggs, Shannon and Michael Graham all of Campbellsville and Emily and Ryan Hatfield of Virginia, ten great grandchildren, one brother, David Skaggs of Campbellsville, five sisters, Ann Mary Skaggs, Mabel Sullivan, Irlene Milby, Helen Brown and Margaret Durham all of Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
