Mable Wise of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Smothers and Myrtle Beldon Smothers, was born September 8, 1930, in Casey County, Kentucky.She died at 1:40 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 78 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Sunnyhill Church of Christ. She united in marriage to William Lee Wise November 5, 1956. He preceded her in death June 7, 2008. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Gary Lee Wise of Campbellsville and Marlene McIntosh of Nicholasville; five grandchildren: Matthew Lee Wise and Jason May of Campbellsville, Shannon Davis of North Carolina, Jimmy McIntosh of Nicholasville, and Jamie Allen of Centennial, Colorado; one brother: Denny Smothers of Elizabethtown; and one sister: Catherine Sandusky of Louisville; special friends, Vera Dunn and Angie Brewer, Jane Penick and Margie White; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Owen Karnes of Campbellsville, son of the late Luther Karnes and Lillie Johnson Karnes, was born November 13, 1919, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:01 A.M., Sunday, January 18, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 89 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Bourbon Cooperage. He united in marriage to Velma Waitman Karnes April 24, 1946. She preceded him in death March 3, 1995. He is survived by one sons and two daughters: Ronnie Karnes and wife, Mabel and Debbie Appleby and husband, Henry of Campbellsville and Carol Bennett of Sevierville, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Amanda Whitaker of Campbellsville and Timmy Harris of Sevierville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren: Havana Whitaker of Campbellsville, Adam Harris and Megan Harris of Sevierville, Tennessee; one great-great-grandchild, Morgan Harris of Sevierville, Tennessee; two half-brothers: Robert Karnes of Indiana and Malcolm Karnes of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Flora Pritchard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Franklin Skaggs and Lillian Odell Whitlow Skaggs, was born July 31, 1920 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:54 P.M., Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 88 She professed faith in Christ and attended the Summersville Church of the Nazarene. She united in marriage to Howard Harrison Pritchard. He preceded her in death July 14, 1981. She is survived by two sons and four daughters: David Pritchard and friend, Mary Ruth Claywell of Campbellsville, James Arlan Pritchard and wife, Carolyn, of Taylorsville, Doris Sprowles and Linda Cook and husband, David of Greensburg, Judy Geralds and husband, Jimmie of Summersville and Peggy Weis and husband, Bob, of Louisville; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Raymond Skaggs and wife, Margie of Campbellsville, William E.
