Kathleen Hovious of Knifley, daughter of the late Elvin Overstreet and Mayme Parker Overstreet, was born May 18, 1924, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 11:45 P.M., Monday, December 1, in Knifley. Age: 84 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Dunbar Hill Community Church. She united in marriage to Troy Hovious February 27, 1940. He preceded her in death August 28, 2002. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Michael Hovious of Campbellsville, Diane Smith Tucker and David Hovious of Knifley and Bobbie Sue Coleman of Ocala, Florida; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Gertha Williams of Knifley, Ruby Hardin of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Ina Moyer of Ransom, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Annette Ford of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alton Parker Newcomb and Ruth Wilson Newcomb, was born July 11, 1936, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:48 A.M., Monday, December 1, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 72 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Leonard Ford November 26, 1954. She had been employed as a secretary for Ferrellgas for twenty-seven years. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Ford, of Campbellsville; one son and one daughter: Greg Ford and wife, Ginger and Cathy Newton and husband, Jeff of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Judy Ford of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Stacy Witham, Leigh Hays and husband, Dr. Philip Hays, Jenny Lynn Newton, Ben Newton and wife, Sheere, and Drew Newton of Campbellsville, Logan Ford, and Brooke Ford Parker and husband, Keith of Campbellsville and Chad Ford of Richmond; seven great-grandchildren: Kailey Witham, Abigail Witham, Bryce Newton, Riley Newton, McKayla Parker, Isaiah Parker and Jackson Hays of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
