Joyce Gumm Gaddie of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Arvin Chewning and Eva Morris Chewning, was born September 19, 1931, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 2:22 P.M., Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to George R. Gumm October 27, 1950. He preceded her in death February 27, 1996. She later united in marriage to Turner Gaddie August 15, 2001. She had been employed for many years as a secretary for the Campbellsville Elementary School. She is survived by her husband, Turner Gaddie of Campbellsville; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sandra Gumm of Campbellsville; one step-son, Jimmy Gaddie of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Steven Gumm and wife, Laura and Allen Gumm of Campbellsville; one step-granddaughter: Ronna R. Gaddie of Shepherdsville; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Nicole Gumm of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Barbara Newton Sapp, daughter of Joseph ldquo;Buckrdquo; Newton and Mary Dorothy Newton, was born December 21, 1943, in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 1:20 P.M., Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Bardstown. Age: 64 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Kenneth Sapp November 22, 1969. He preceded her in death July 4, 1998. She had been employed as a hairdresser.
