John D. Franklin, of Russell Springs, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late John D. Franklin, Sr. and Annie Bell Vaughn Franklin, was born June 8, 1939, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:55 P.M., Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Jamestown. Age: 69 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a retired plumber. He united in marriage to Elozie Dean Warren. She preceded him in death September 22, 2008. He is survived by one sister, Pansy Willis of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Elbridge Arvin (E. A. ) Brown Elbridge Arvin (E. A. ). Brown, 86, of Sunny Hill Drive, Campbellsville, died Friday , October 24, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Claude and Sadie Williams Brown. He was united in marriage to Gracie Lee McDonald Brown in 1957 and she preceded him in death in 1992. Also preceding him in death was one son, Arvin J. Brown, brothers and sisters, William Rollin Brown, one brother in infancy, Alma Marie Gabehart, Mary Beatrice Herron and Effie Inex Herman. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He is survived by one son, Robert Brown of Coxrsquo;s Creek, two daughters, Nancy Wethington of Campbellsville and Martha Key of Fairdale, Ky., four grandchildren, Stephanie Wethington, Arvin Brown, Lisa Hardin, David Brown, six great grandchildren, Adrian Richardson, Jacob A. Brown, Cheyenne L. Brown, Sarah Hardin, Micheala Brown and Tyler Brown, one brother, Lucian Brown of Elkhorn and one sister, Vertie Mae Picking of Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM., Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery with full military honors by Marion County DAV Bro Harold Decker, officiating. Robert Scott Stultz age 83 of Hamilton Indiana, formerly of Taylor County, died Saturday in Indiana. He was the son of the late Basil Gregg and Juanity Katherine (Humphries) Stultz. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Gayle Stultz, three brothers, Paul Winslow Stultz, John Phillip Stultz and Louis Edward Stultz. He was retired from Chrysler where he worked as a millwright, also owned and operated Stultzrsquo;s Motorcycle Sales in Sheridan, Indiana. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, member of Campbellsville VFW, Taylor County Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans, Lifetime member of the National Riflemanrsquo;s Association, Sheridan Masonic Lodge F amp; AM # 309, Noblesville Elkrsquo;s Lodge, K.V. Elliott Post # 67 of the American Legion in Shriday, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Margaret Callahan Stultz of Indiana, one son Jeffrey Scott Stultz of Zionsville, one daughter and son-in-law, Roberta JoAnne and Jeffrey Raines-Sowders of Sheridan, Indiana, two step sons and daughter-in-law, Larry D. And Tammie Clements of Elkhorn, Bruce Leon Chappell of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, James Murray and Mary Lois Stultz of Sheridan, one sister and brother-in-law, Martha Louise and Harry Johnson of Sarasota, Florida, two sister-in-laws, Kathleen Stultz and Jan Stultz. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery with military honors by the Marion County DAV.
