Elliott Cisco, age 77, of Greensburg, formerly of Michigan, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel Cisco. He was also preceded in death by his son, Chris Cisco. He was retired military and steel worker. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Elliott and Debbie Cisco, Jr. Of Michigan, David and Carmen Cisco of Michigan, Walter Cisco of Michigan and Jason and Elizabeth Cisco of Campbellsville, eleven grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Carlos Cisco of West Virginia, Fred Ciso of Michigan, Peggy Cisco of Ohio and Shirley Cisco of Georgia. Family chose cremation with memorial services to be held at a later date in Michigan. Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Weslie Sallee age 65 of Campbellsville, died Monday at the home of his sister. He was the son of the late Vance and Gertie Sallee. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church He is survived by four children, Weslie Sallee Jr. of Florida, Cheryl Mukasa, Angela Kemberlin, and Leslie Evans all of Ohio, five grandchildren, two sisters and brother-in-law and one brother and sister-in-law, Pauline and Elbert Bennett of Campbellsville, Mary and Shirley Raikes, and Merida and Louise Sallee both of Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery. Sister Anna Overstreet, officiating.

Gene Carter of Campbellsville, son of the late L. G. Carter and Bessie Drumheller Carter, was born June 16, 1929, in Eden, North Carolina. He died at 2:22 A.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. He was a retired employee of Philip Morris Corporation and former pastor of Woodlawn Christian Church and Mannsville Christian Church. He had been a member of theNorth CarolinaNational Guard. He united in marriage to Margaret Ann Patterson April 5, 1952. Besides his wife, Margaret Carter of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Teresa Tedder and husband, Travis of Campbellsville, David L. Carter and wife, Gina of Lebanon and Elisa D. Pyles of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Travis Jesse Tedder of Cincinnati,David Shane Tedder of Lexington, Keely Jill Tedder of Springfield, Carter Luke Tedder of Bowling Green, Evan Abell Carter and Ann Clair Carter of Lebanon, Tristan Grant Pyles of Campbellsville,Lacee McCall Pyles of Mt. Washington; one brother and two sisters: Roger Carter of Atlanta, Georgia, Evelyn Grogan Tate of Reidsville, North Carolina and Nellie Brown of Bluefield, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
