Charley E. ThomasCharley E. Thomas, age 83, of South Park, Fairdale, Ky died Monday, December 4, 2006 at Clark Memorial Hospital.He was the son of the late, Eugene and Lena Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Thomas, brothers and sisters, John, Calvin, Helen and Cordelia. He was retired from General Electric and served in the military in World War II. He is survived by his companion, Margie Wiseman, two sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Phyllis Thomas of Munfordville, Mike and Dawn Thomas of Prospect, three grandchildren, Paul and Carrie Thomas of Munfordville, Becky Shuffitt of Munfordville, Jennie and Jason Agostina of Fairdale, one great grandchild, Travis Shuffitt, one brother, Carl Thomas of Louisville.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday at the Fairdale- McDaniel Funeral Home in Fairdale with graveside services at 2:00 PM, Thursday at the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor County with full military honors by the Marion County DAV.Family request visitation from 5 to 8 PM, Wednesday at the Fairdale Funeral Home.Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
