Jeramie DeWayne Cox, of Campbellsville, was born April 3, 1981, in Campbellsville, KY, and departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was 42 years of age.
He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, mud trucks, his dog Diamond and spending time with family.
Survivors include his mother: Dawn Kay Trout Cox of Garrett, IN, two children: Dalton D. Cox and companion Molly Shumate, and Madison Cox and companion Jaylon McFarland, and their mother Erica Mattingly of Lebanon.
His grandparents: David and Alice Nicolet, and Paul Trout, four nieces and nephews: Dawson Adcock (Melissa Nation), C.J. Cox (Alley McDonald), Harley Rodgers (Kathleen), and Chelsey Adcock (Aaron Savage). Five great nieces and nephews: Violet Cox, Peyton Savage, Cayson Adcock, Kade Adcock, and Cooper Rodgers.
Also, surviving are a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carmen J.V. Cox and one sister, Alice Marie Cox-Humes, and his grandmother Jonita Trout.
The funeral service for Jeramie DeWayne Cox will be at 11 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2024, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Bro. Daniel Bryant will officiate
The family requests visitation on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 PM. at the funeral home.

James Mings, 82, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Asure Mings and Cora McDonald Mings was born December 7th, 1941, in Columbia, Kentucky, and departed this life on February 24th, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.
James united in marriage to Ms. Abbie Joyce Stone on November 22nd, 1963, she survives. He professed faith in Christ and attended Woodlawn Christian Church. James was a lifetime farmer. He retired from the Ingersoll-Rand receiving department after 28 ½ years of service.
Besides his wife, James is survived by:
One son and one daughter: Rhonda Burns and her husband, Barry of Princeton, KY; and Kevin Mings and his wife, Cheryl, of Campbellsville
One daughter-in-law, Heather Mings of Mannsville
Seven Grandchildren: Zachary Mings and his wife, Shelby, of Campbellsville; Landon Burns and his wife, Alivia, of Dunmor, KY; Jaycee Mings of Campbellsville; Shane Burns of Princeton, KY; Sydney Mings, and her fiancé, Alex Lara, of Campbellsville; Ethan Mings of Campbellsville; and Drake Mings of Mannsville
Three Great-grandchildren: Tate Mings; and Mattie Mings, both of Campbellsville; and Bowyn Burns of Dunmor
A host of other relatives and friends
James was preceded in death by:
One son, Michael Mings
One sister, Betty Lou Curry
VISITATION: Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at 11:00 am at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Fella Wilson will be officiating.
PALLBEARERS: Landon Burns, Shane Burns, Zachary Mings, Ethan Mings, Drake Mings, Jason Sullivan, Mike Ware, and Brian Underwood
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and Woodlawn Christian Church.

Sapatu Ala, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Ala Ala and Aitulagi Tuilefano Ala, was born July 30, 1943, in Malaeloa, Tutuila, American Samoa, and departed this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his residence. He was 80 years of age.
He loved cars, playing cricket and owed his own Samoan softball and cricket teams in San Francisco, CA. He was also a great swimmer.
Survivors include: Antonina Suapaia Ala, Cynthia Ala, Arabellah Wolfgramm, and Sapatu Lavulo.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death several brothers and sisters: Va’ I Ala, Falagai Frank Ala, Meafatu Ala, Nifo Ala, Faia Ala, and Akuso Ala.
