Raymond Alan Morris

Raymond Alan Morris of Campbellsville, KY, the son of Robert Alan Morris of Campbellsville and the late Pauline (Williams) Morris, was born May 27, 1954, in Jefferson County, KY, and departed this life on Friday, July 25, 2025, at his residence. He was 71 years of age.

He made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Columbia. He loved Jesus and sharing about Him with anyone he met.

Raymond enjoyed music and played many instruments, including the guitar and Native American flutes. He also loved motor cross racing, gardening, hunting, traveling, and was just a passionate person in general with a warm, fun personality that cannot be easily forgotten.

Survivors include his wife, Bunnie (Knight) Morris of Campbellsville; two daughters: Krystal Eddleman and husband Shane of Tennessee, Amber Flinchum and husband Jordan of Campbellsville; a step-daughter: Leah Tucker of Russell Springs; a host of cousins, including Michael Berry and Alan Wheatcroft, and other relatives and many friends.

The funeral service for Raymond Alan Morris will be on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow.

Pastor Brian Hadley will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 1:00 P.M. on Thursday until the time for the service.

Honorary Pallbearers: Shane Eddleman, Jordan Flinchum, Jeremy Coe, Josh Brown, Charlie Brown, Michael Berry, and Alan Wheatcraft.

Prunice Delbert Barnett

Prunice Delbert Barnett was born March 29, 1944, to the late Vernon and Nellie Barnett in Hart County, Kentucky. On Thursday, July 24, 2025, God saw fit to call him home at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was 81 years old.

He professed his faith at an early age at Mount Gilboa Baptist Church in Hart County, Kentucky.

Prunice worked as a welder at Kentucky Trailer in Louisville, KY, for 30 years. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time at home in his garage no matter the weather. Everyone knew he would be in his garage rain or shine, hot or cold. The garage was his sanctuary, and it became a popular sitting spot for family and friends. If the garage could talk, it would have many stories to tell. Before his health failed him, he would also enjoy mowing his lawn and working on vehicles.

To know Prunice was to love him. He enjoyed teasing and picking on family and friends. He even teased and joked in his final hours. He would always say, “If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t pick on you or talk to you”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Nellie Barnett; two brothers, Farris Barnett and Warren (Tom) Barnett; one sister, Rebecca Garnett; 4 nephews and two nieces.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Mary (Boo) Barnett of Campbellsville, KY; two sons, Jeffrey (Anita) Barnett of Columbia, KY and Stacey Groves of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Tara (Charles) Acklin of Louisville, KY; 5 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service for Prunice Delbert Barnett will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Rev. Joshua Hale will officiate.

The family requests visitation on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Jeremy Ogelvie of Campbellsville, son of the late Harold Dean Ogelvie and Linda Lou Daniels Ogelvie, was born July 26, 1971 in Oswego, Illinois.  He died at 6:30 P.M., Friday July 25, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  53

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Jeremy was a former employee of TGKY and also worked as a paramedic in Whitesburg, KY.

He loved motorcycles, music and his family and was a huge supporter of Toys for Kids.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Timothy Ogelvie and wife, Amber, Justin Hansford, and McKayla Ogelvie all of Campbellsville; bonus kids special to him: Trenton Harris and Tristian Harris, of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Serenity Hansford of Florida, Sofia Ogelvie, Railynn Ogelvie, and Walker Ogelvie of Campbellsville; his grandmother: Loretta Daniels of Hazard, KY; special friends and family: Lisa and John Harris, Tracey Kately, Bessie Curtis, and Starr Brown; many other relatives and friends.
