Janet Osborne of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Benjamin Hicks and Essie Faye Hayes Hicks, was born June 24, 1938 in Boone, North Carolina. She died at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Greensburg. Age: 84
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Janet was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She provided childcare for many children when she was younger and enjoyed playing outside and going fishing with them and her grandchildren.
She united in marriage to Darrell Osborne August 10, 1958 and he preceded her in death October 12, 2002.
Janet is survived one son and one daughter: Jerry Osborne and wife, LaDonna, and Mary Rogers and husband, Gary of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jordan Osborne and wife, Hayli, and Austin Osborne and wife, Rachel and Samantha Ward and husband, Kyle of Campbellsville; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Loyde Hicks and wife, Delores of Carrollton, Georgia, and Ruth Greer and husband, Dwight of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Lewis Hicks, Leona Cable, Bennie Warren, Earlene Bright Holtzclaw and Gertrude Bright.

Mildred Irene Campbell, of Campbellsville, was born August 1, 1942 in Jefferson County, KY., to the late Laura Bell (Davis) Shoffner and departed this life on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home. She was 80 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the God’s Grace Church and was a former healthcare giver and Fruit of the Loom worker.
Mildred enjoyed taking care of her family, crocheting, needlepoint, painting and being a homemaker.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers: Sissy (Laura Lee) Harlson, Jeneva Shoffner, Anna Mae Shoffner, Edgar T, Ben F “Bimbo”, Joseph “Jobie”, Ronald and Donald Shoffner.
Survivors include her husband: George W. Campbell; three sons and two daughters: Donna Campbell, Jeffrey and Becky Campbell, Vickey and Tommy Hearon, Greg Campbell and Lora and Michael Campbell; seven sisters and one brother: Edna Burkett, Delores Cash, Barbara Franz, Betty Nixon, Linda Dibner, Mary Barrow, Melba Thames and David Shoffner twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great- grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mildred Irene Campbell will be Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Sherman Stoess will be officiating
Grandsons and other family serving as pallbearers
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Becky Gabehart, 54, of Monticello, Kentucky, formerly of Campbellsville. daughter of the late Wallace Gabehart and Edith Darlene Pelston was born January 10th, 1968, in Taylor County and departed this life on Monday, December 26th, 2022, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.
She professed her faith in Christ and was of Methodist faith. She was a homemaker. She loved being outdoors, listening to music, and dancing.
She is survived by her children:
Raven Gregory and fiancé Amanda Collins from Kingsport, TN; Chris Cannell of Monticello, KY; Mikarah Mason of Albany, KY; and Chance Paver of Monticello, KY.
One grandson: Chris Mays of Kingsport, TN.
Fiancé: Ben Taylor of Campbellsville, KY
One brother: Anthony Gabehart of Elkhorn, KY.
One nephew: Jacob Gabehart.
Special friend: Christy King.
Beside her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters: Marcela Cox and Carolyn Dickens
