LINDA JOYCE WINFREY

Linda Joyce Winfrey, 68, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ben Rafferty and Mary Helen Whited Rafferty was born April 4th, 1953, in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, October 31st, 2021, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. Linda retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where she was a seamstress.  She loved the simple life of watching tv and the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Survived by one son:  Harold Wayne Hardin of Campbellsville.

Four grandchildren:  Patrick Hardin and his wife, Mary, of Russell Springs, KY; Wesley Hardin and his wife, Cassie, of Russell Springs, KY; Tyler Hardin and his fiancé, Brooklyn Kay of Russell Springs, KY; and Christin Lackey and husband, Cody, of Warsaw, Indiana.

Five great-grandchildren:  Elijah Hardin, Maddie Hardin, Kyleigh Hardin, Ayden Hardin and Kensley Hardin, all of Russell Springs, KY, and Braxton Lackey of Warsaw, Indiana.

Two sisters:  Juanita Ford and her husband, Donnie of Campbellsville, KY, and Mary Nell Cox of Campbellsville, KY.

One sister-in-law:  Betty Rafferty of Campbellsville, KY.

One brother-in-law:  Ronald Fitzgerald of Cheyenne, WY.

Special niece:  Kymberli Fitzgerald.

Special friend:  Beverly Sue Cox.

Along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents, Ms. Winfrey is preceded in death by:

One son:  Michael Todd Hardin on August 01, 2013.

One brother:  Carroll Rafferty.

One sister: Barbara Fitzgerald.

Burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Dr. Brian Rafferty will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for memorials to be made to Gideons Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.

The funeral service for Ms. Linda Joyce Winfrey will be held privately on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, at Auberry Funeral Home.  There will be no public visitation.

Eugene Pelston, 45

Eugene Pelston, of Glasgow, formerly of the Sparksville Community of Adair County, the son of Sue (Fudge) Pelston of Sparksville and the late George Pelston, was born December 19, 1975 in Columbia and departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was 45 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a factory worker for Akebono Brake in Glasgow at the time of his death.

Eugene enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Xbox, and farming Simulator games, but most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandson.

Survivors include his mother: Sue Pelston of Sparksville, three daughters: Amy Nicole Pelston (Damon Kessinger) of Greensburg, Ashley Renee Pelston (Jacob Hilty) of Breeding and Heather Marie Butler of Glasgow; a sister: Melanda Fields and husband Ricky of Breeding; a brother: Chris Pelston of Sparksville; a grandson: Joseph Oliver Kessinger and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Eugene Pelston will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. EST (1:00 P.M. CST) at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Harrods Fork Cemetery at Sparksville.

Family requests visitation after 5 PM EST (4:00 P.M. CST) on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Brian Hayden, 50

Brian Hayden, of Campbellsville, the son of Betty (McNear) Hayden and the late George Thomas Hayden was born June 4, 1971 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. He was 50 years of age.
He was an employee of Cox Interiors and was of the Christian Faith.
Brian loved spending time with this family, watching his favorite TV shows, doing yard work and would try to fix anything, while being a shade tree mechanic.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother: Vincent Hayden.
He is survived by his mother: Betty Joyce Hayden; a son: Doug Hayden and wife Ginger; two brothers: Jerry Hayden and wife Evelyn and Steven Hayden and wife Kim, all of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Brian Hayden will be conducted Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
