James Harrison Tungate of Campbellsville, the son of the late Lafayette and Cora Frances (Wright) Tungate was born May 12, 1943 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Lebanon at the Springview Hospital. He was 78 years of age.
He was a farmer and was of the Baptist Faith.
He united in marriage to Wanda Faye (Brown) Tungate, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six children: Tassie Seals, Elizabeth Tungate, Kathy Tungate, Jimmy Tungate and wife Jane, Robert Arnold Tungate and James Clarkson and wife Wendy all of Campbellsville; nineteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Will Tungate; two sisters: Betty Lanham and Rosie Clark.
The funeral service for James Harrison Tungate will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Rev. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.
Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until time for the service.

Robert K. Boston, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Ola and Bernice (Hood) Boston, was born March 23, 1944 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 77 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member and pastor of the Mannsville Separate Baptist Church. He was a minister of the Gospel for more than 40 years. He retired as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service after 35 years.
Robert never met a stranger and would always witness to people about the Lord. He enjoyed working on the farm and cutting firewood.
He united in marriage on July 22, 1961 to Wilma (Cox) Boston, who preceded him in death in 2016.
He is survived by a daughter: Tammy Boston of Campbellsville; a grandson: Casey Seaborne and wife Sierra and a great-granddaughter: Kylee Seaborne all of Campbellsville; a sister: Kodelia Swears of Mt. Washington; five sisters-in-law: Linda Boston, Beverly Sue Cox, Kathleen Cox, Mary Nell Cox and Marcella Cox and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth Boston, D.K. “Bud” Boston and Charles “Bo” Boston and four sisters: Korine Whitley, Kay Hobbs, Kathryn Arvin and Koretta Johnson.
To honor the request of Robert K. Boston, cremation rites were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with a graveside service and burial that will take place at the Boston Cemetery in Hardyville, KY at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Gideon Bible Donation, which can be made at the funeral home.

Mrs. Misty Dawn Garrett of Campbellsville was born on March 5, 1981 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late Leon McGlone and Agnes (Sanford) Jeffries. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 40 years, 11 months, and 4 days of age. She had made a professoin of faith in Christ and was a member of Abundant Life Church. Although partially disabled many years, Mrs. Garrett was a happy, energetic person, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Two children: Devin McGlone, and Marissa Garrett and fiance Jackson Hunt,
Two brothers: Ray Flowers and wife Terrica, and James Flowers and wife Hope,
A longtime family friend: Chipper Moore,
And a host of other relatives and friends.
At the request of the family, cremation was accorded Mrs. Garrett. All services were held privately.
